the reason it's "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" is because Tim Burton wrote The Nightmare before Xmas as a poem/short story before making it into a movie.
He also designed most of the characters. The reason he didnt direct it is because he was directing batman and something else at the same time and had little time to do NBC he did pop in something like 8 times. He wrote some of the script to

I'm pretty sure they'd recognize a Batman movie. Knowing it was directed by Burton though before seeing the clip might not be a given

I love Beetlejuice. They've been talking about making a sequel for years (with Michael Keaton).
And instead of a sequel we get a musical, not complaining.
I'm pretty sure they started planning for a sequel right after they finished making Beetlejuice in 89.

The writer of both The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissor Hands deserves way more love than she gets, her names Caroline Thompson and she sadly had a major falling out with Tim Burton and left the industry, but of Tim Burtons films those 2 are some of his most famous
Also Henry Selick for his directing job at Nightmare and James. The latter I wouldn't even say it's a Tim Burton film, despite him being a producer. And in the former, yes, he created the story and characters, but he was almost never there during production, it was all Selick's work bringing the film to life.
When you know tim burton so well you can tell by when their released😂😂 I love him sooo much

This is my favorite episode ever. I am internally screamingly as I type, he is one of my top three or four directors of all freaking time. I would absolutely love another episode like this with Mel brooks and Hayao Miyazaki (spirited away and many others). I want to be Morgan’s best friend. Also, Henry selick mainly directed Nightmare because Burton was working on Batman.
