Ary is 🖤 when she got teary-eyed. I grew up as the only kid in my class who watched and loved Tim Burton. A lot of my friends made fun of me and called me weird, but I loved how Tim creates unique and amazing characters and stories.

I saw Tim Burton and FBE and immediately thought "Ary's going to be on here".

Posters literally say "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas", he wrote the story and one of the production companies listed on imdb is Tim Burton Productions. It IS his film, he just didn't direct it.
Seeing as this is “did he direct it” that doesn’t qualify.
He wrote a poem and handed it off for other people to do the actual work. He didn't write the script, design any characters, or write any songs.

He didn't write the script. The WRITERS are the ones who it should be considered their film. Not The Directors or Producers. The Script Writer is the one who creates the characters, Dialogue, and worlds.

I actually watched Coraline because it said: "By the director of Nightmare Before Christmas" and I thought it was a Burton movie. Coraline than introduced me to the great work of Neil Gaiman who wrote such amazing non-children-books. All because I thought Burton directed a Movie that he "just" produced and wrote.

Ary is 🖤 when she got teary-eyed. I grew up as the only kid in my class who watched and loved Tim Burton. A lot of my friends made fun of me and called me weird, but I loved how Tim creates unique and amazing characters and stories.

I mean: yeah, it's crazy to think Tim's nane is ftuck on top of Nightmare Before Christmas, but outside of not directing cause he was busy with Warner Brothers and Batman, it is his child he created from seeing decorations being shifted out from Halloween to Christmas and making a poem about.

I made the hotspot password on my phone iambatman, my sister once asked for it, we were in public so I whispered it. It didnt don on me until that moment that I whispered "I am batman". I didnt even think about that when I made it. XD

Any real burton fan knows the only well known stop motions films Tim has directed is corpse bride and Frankenweinee, besides that he has only directed live action films and produced stop frame films.
Corpse bride was my favourite film from like 7 years old onwards idk why I have just always loved it
