"Red! Red! Red! Red! Fire!.." LOL! Living in CA, I relate. Thankfully, we have been getting lots of rain! Breaking record rain. This is a fun little game. The theme, and mechanics are fun, and its' easy to teach. Great playthrough, thanks! I make scones, but I've never heard of an orange scone. Where have I been?? I need to try that!
Great game guys, This just made me want the La Granja deluxe more though XD. Also, Nick is such a dirty dirty cheater, literately cant take your eye off him! Need a montage of it all at the end of the year so we can never forget his treachery :p.
I had asked about what kind of shelves you use in a previous video. You kindly told me you used Billy shelves from Ikea. How has your experience been? I know the average game box hangs out of the front about half an inch. Have they held up well over time? Did the slight overhang cause the shelves to lean forward? Any comments good or bad would be appreciated. I'm considering ordering 5 large ones and driving about 5 hours to get them and bring them home.
Great question! So for the purposes of making things look as good on camera as possible we removed the backing so games could hang off the back end. I haven’t noticed it cause a lean but the removal of the backing really affected the stability of the shelves so we anchored them together on top. Works really well for our purposes of creating a set but I wouldn’t recommend removing the backing to anyone else. You can pack a lot on those shelves for sure so if you don’t mind games hanging off the front of the shelf it’s a worthy shelf choice
Mike crushed it! Get wrecked Nick haha. Love you guys :) I have this on preorder in NZ, thinking it might be a good idea to put the resources in the supply under the box lid or something between rounds so the accidental cheating doesn't happen
Thanks for the playthrough, I have been eyeing this one for a while. Big fan of Capstone Games, there retail store is 10 minutes from my work so I will have to stop buy and pick this one up. Would love to see you guys play Maracaibo or Gaia Project.
Hey guys, im about to give this game a shot so thanks for the great play through. The only question i have is are you sure you can discard the cards you harvested in a frutful year at the start of a dry year? You did that several times but i see no mention of that in the rules. The rules state that on a dry year you have to pick up the card's you harvested then continue to draw up to 5. Thoughts?
Nice game, guys! I gave this a go last month and it was fun! There’s a random loss of picture at 29.17 for about 10 seconds (in case you didn’t know) but apart from that, everything was clear… including Nicks cheating 😏
Thanks for the playthrough video, my gf and I really enjoy this game. I do think you guys got a rule wrong, though. Page 5 of the rulebook states that, during a Harvest action, "you must now collect as many tokens...as are shown in all harvest sections of your harvest column combined." The example on the same page also shows the player getting all harvested ingredients on 3 cards, including ones that don't match with previously played cards. So you should have been collecting more stuff throughout the game.
P.S.: Last time we played she also kept doing the same thing as Nick where she tried to grab resources from the supply outside of the board. Not sure what it is about this game that leads to people doing that, it's not really a problem with any others I can think of...
Not sure if we understand your clarification sorry. Mike here and I’ll speak for myself whenever I played I harvest card I’d collect everything showing on that card itself and then any resources from previous cards that also match a resource on the current card. Are we talking the same thing there? If so, that’s what I did and to everything I saw what Nick did as well.
@@TheBrothersMurph What I'm saying is that the resources from previous cards don't have to match any of the current card's resources in order to collect from them. Not a big deal, just that you should have collected more resources during harvests than you ended up getting (at least, that seems to be the case from the example in the rulebook). Gotta say, though, that was a pretty impressive score you ended up with!
Cheers thanks for the kindness. From every ring I understand including the example that’s shown you only gain resources from columns that match the current card. In the example they lay out there is water and wheat that gets extra from precious cards that match and a barley from the current card but the rye showing on the earlier card is not gained because there’s no match. They only gain the 2 water 1 barley and 3 wheat. It’s definitely a rule that is confusing though and we weren’t sure how to interpret it for the longest time.
This game looks like a lot of fun.
Always nice seeing a small footprint.
Right?? Seems so rare these days
Your Game Haus playthroughs are the best on YT
Aww cheers!
What a fantastic play through! Ready for the expansion to Beer, Bread and BOOP.
You and me both!
It feels so good when your bread score is equal to your beer score, this game is so good! Great playthrough keep up the good work
right???
If you were to look at the first player marker upside down, it looks like baby Groot doing jumping jacks!
Awwww you right!
Now I can’t unsee it 😂

That orange takes scones next level!
You did grow up in a brewing family. looks like a clever and fun game!
love it! but needs a cobblers and scones expansion now 😋
Make it happen Capstone!
My wife constantly slaps my hands for taking from the bank resources instead of the fields :D It's just instinct!
I saw your how to play for this game and made me interested. Thank you for the play through 😊
Aye we’re happy to hear it! Glad you enjoyed
Been looking forward to this game for a few months. thanks for the playthrough!
You’re very welcome!

it'd be dope to do both of those!
When you upgraded for holding an additional beer card. You could have emptied the brewery and put away the beer card that was already there. :)
Ah dang you right
Holy haircut, Batman! Looking sharp
Thanks!
Not mentioning any names, but at 19:42 it looks like someone grabs resources from the extra supply instead of the board.
If it was nick, Cheater. If Mike did it…. No comment
@@TheBrothersMurph Lol!! -3 points for #CheaterNick
Yesssssss

So sorry i see there is an upgrade card i missed. Anyway excellent playthrough
Haha yup that’s what allowed for that. Hope you enjoy the game!

So weird!! No idea what happened there but good catch!

@@beatlesfan931 I think they do have to match, otherwise 3 cards would just fill your entire warehouse every time.

The cheating!
