- Duane Eddy's final single release of the 1950s was this one, "First Love, First Tears". He'd had eight successive chart hits - this was the first one not to make the Billboard Top 50 (it peaked at #59). But with the dawn of 1960, he was back again, with hits like "Shazam" through to 1962 and his last Top 20 hit, "Dance With the Guitar Man".
One I always loved, Victor. He had some great one's, for sure. Thanks so much for the trip through Twangsville. RIP Duane Eddy.
