The thing that pisses me off is he’s out on bond. Why??? He should never have had a bond. Speeding through the city running multiple red lights. An example needs to be made. This women should be at home with their family. To the family I’m so sorry that this happened to you

My family goes back to the 1840's in St. Louis, but I would warn anyone from visiting here now. All this additional money the city has and is trying to decide how to spend to make improvements won't matter, if you cannot ensure basic safety. There is little to no enforcement for speeding in the city or committing other crimes, so bad actors are taking advantage of that. It doesn't matter what attractions and improvements are made, if you don't hold people accountable for criminal behavior.

It's the wild West, driving here in STL city. Those terrible drivers are so inconsiderate and reckless, and it has now cost two more lives. Awfully tragic.

Stlpd long ago stopped pulling drivers over traffic violations, so this is what we get. You'd thought after the volley ball player lost her legs and it got national attention police would have started going after bad drivers again. But nope. To much bother to set down the donut and beer and do the job.
Then again, stlpd are some if the worse violators. Just look at how they blast through intersection with no lights on at high speeds and then plow into bars.
The slmpd is about 350 people short and do what they can with the limited manpower. And even if they had the manpower and go after these people and the fleeing car hit an innocent person or car, these same people would be blaming the police. You can't have it both ways.
