Nothing like a little good ole ZZ to show off what these guitars are supposed to sound like - great amp pairing too! The bulldog pups in the safari video were awesome as well. Thanks for sharing the story
This isn't microphonics. PAF's aren't about microphonics, this is a really good demo to really show what real PAF's have that no modern factory companies or "hand" winders can deliver. Very good demo, rare to see this done right.
Beautiful guitar played beautifully n dat was a beautiful story too when ya delivered to Tampa man y’all good hearts to equal y’all’s good biz dat fo sure!
Aaron makes all the bursts sound that much better. Emerald guitars is definitely my favourite guitar shop well before the videos on the story of this guitar. I’ve talked to Trevor on the phone and he’s definitely a genuine person. Loved the video of him bringing this guitar to Florida. Wish Emerald guitars was in Canada, cheers
This demo really captures character of the top ..subtle and unique. In the delivery video it almost appears to look like a plain top at times, but looking at this video it obviously is not...the 'Scotty" Burst...DIG IT!
Oh it's an ACTUAL 59. Fwew! Crazy awesome. How do they really feel better to you in a blind test? I've heard more resonant wood and less hot pickups maybe? Super cool
There's something very vibrant in its tone, something extra. Like the extra bite of a '60 LP but yet retaining the '59 midrange.... 2 guitars in 1, at once....
Really great player, beautiful looking specimen, but I honestly found the bridge tone really grating. Can I blame the amp and mic’ing? Bridge sounded nice, middle position rolled back sounded amazing.
I love a Les Paul when it does that "tele on steroids" thing!
59 burst in mint condition with a killer tone..... kinda priceless!
Aaron is the MAN
Wow, the tone is sublime... !
Quite often, Aaron's playing is my Moment of Zen for the day... such a fantastic demo of gear!
Free and ZZ Top in the same demo .... shot of Jack for everyone.
These guitars are very individual ... This one's a fire breathing monster.
Great demonstration of why we value these instruments so much. It doesn’t need to be an actual ‘59 Burst but it doesn’t hurt!
Scotty Burst! This guitar, Mark, EGC, and Scotty will forever be cemented in guitar history! Love this. RIP Scotty.
If that thing sounds this good on my phone it must be a heavenly thing to play and hear in person! What a great guitar!
Damn. One of the best bursts you demoed. Damn
I love them with some red left in the colour.
One of the nicest guitars I have ever seen.

Those pickups are just slightly microphonic in the most beautiful way.
I kinda think hobby players playing at home would benefit from pickups that're not potted, or at least only slightly potted.
In the right hands, yes! Guitars make a lot of “other “ sounds that can be so cool with microphonic pickups
This isn't microphonics. PAF's aren't about microphonics, this is a really good demo to really show what real PAF's have that no modern factory companies or "hand" winders can deliver. Very good demo, rare to see this done right.
Good to see this one demo'd..........such a good looking LP.......cheers Emerald City.
That MAZ-38 is a great match for that '59.
Great playing, love it when it becomes obvious the Player is having fun.
Beautiful guitar played beautifully n dat was a beautiful story too when ya delivered to Tampa man y’all good hearts to equal y’all’s good biz dat fo sure!
Awesome guitar!
Great guitar, great demo.the pickups sound amazing
I need to wipe the drool off my chin... Just beautiful!
"Honey, we're selling the house so I can buy a '59 Burst!" 😁
And she said....Both houses?
Touch.. and feel.....the tone !!!!!
Aaron is such a fooking beast
That thing is as glorious sounding as it looks!

Great tone! Love it. Cheers!
It sounds FANTASTIC though these little iPad speakers , I even imagine how it sounds in person !!!
This is easily the prettiest burst you guys have had yet. Great story as well.
PS - Aaron's playing is also fantastic.
Now thats a burst! and Aaron has some great syle and soul.
Incredible Les Paul right there!!
Yet another home run! Well done my man, very well done! Keep them coming!
Unbelievable tone!! 🔥🔥🔥
So good! Wow!

WOW!!
Sick man. Loved the video. Sounds p90ish to me.
Awesome 👌🏻
who says there's no such thing as a time machine...amazing!
Gorgeous axe.
When I hit the lottery, I will put you on the search for my "59 burst. Until then, I will admire from afar.
Stunning guitar, something about the aged binding just sets off that top
cool! very nice...
Is Aaron Hebert in a band? I really like his playing a lot
@ 2:50 what is he playing? Yes I know it was 3 years ago but thought I would take the cance someone woud know.
Alive!!!
Right player, right amp.
Oh it's an ACTUAL 59. Fwew! Crazy awesome. How do they really feel better to you in a blind test? I've heard more resonant wood and less hot pickups maybe? Super cool
Awesome sound. Aren't the tuner tulip-buttons too pristine looking to be original ? Have they been replaced ?
Wow! Where has this one been? Who's was this? Unreal.
Check out the other video in the description, its a cool story!
Can you guys demo the Dr Z Route 66 you just got in? Would love to hear a proper cranked demo of it.
Wow,😳
There's something very vibrant in its tone, something extra. Like the extra bite of a '60 LP but yet retaining the '59 midrange.... 2 guitars in 1, at once....
Keep drinking the Kool Aid.
wow! That's all I've got.
Beautiful tone and playing. Some clean would be nice
Viva La Scotty Burst!!! That case clip starting at 6:08 is just straight up guitar porn.
What's the song played around 2:55?
So Many Roads by Joe Bonamassa. First time you hear that riff is coming in to the first verse.
Daaaayyyyammmmnnnn
Fuck me running, incredible!
What did ya stop the video for? I was just about to bust out the tissues! 😆
Ok, whos the gunslinger playing? Anybody know??
After the 1st. video i can say it went to the right home. Have you ever heard an electric guitar sound better?
So, if I go out of the room for a bite to eat, will the guitar still be playing?
Those pickups sound gooooood but in the best way
Yummmy 😋
Funny how the pick guard isn't a perfect fit around the treble pickup ring
Don't know which is better, the guitar, or the story behind it's purchase......
Mmh!
DAMN.....that sounds ungodly.....wow....if i had that guitar , i would die of starvation because i would never put it down...lol
Really great player, beautiful looking specimen, but I honestly found the bridge tone really grating. Can I blame the amp and mic’ing?
Bridge sounded nice, middle position rolled back sounded amazing.
Aaron smokes!
Beam me up...1
It won’t sound as good as this unless it is cranked. Notice he’s on the edge of feedback.
El84s... ewww
Meh never understand the fascination with these. Would much prefer a gold top. The PAFs always sound too compressed 🤷♀️
Look at the bridge. The g , b and high e look far from properly intonated.
The A and B are reversed. The G string is contacting the back and A and B and contacting the front. It looks right and it definitely sounds right.
prefer my harley benton
Sure
Good looking guitar but rock still sucks.
Like, what are you even doing here? Lol
