Which club should Kieran McKenna go this summer? 🤔 OPTION A: Stay at Ipswich Town OPTION B: Manchester United OPTION C: Brighton OPTION D: Chelsea OPTION E: Other
As an Ipswich fan, I obviously want him to stay as gives us the best chance of staying up. However can understand his head being turned by established prem teams, Brighton seem the most logical option for career progression. I have seen plenty of fans saying he needs to show loyalty to us, whereas I don’t think he owes us anything. He has taken us back to the prem and over the last two seasons given us so many fantastic memories. At the end of the day it’s his career and in all other careers people look to progress why is this different. If he does leave I will give him a standing ovation when he comes back with another club as he deserves our appreciation.
Although McKenna would probably like to go to Utd being a lifelong fan maybe its a bit too early? At Ipswich his players admire and respect him having coached them to their current success. If he went to Utd now he would not have the same level of faith in him from players there. Also if Utd were'nt quickly succesful he could have a very short stay whereas at Ipswich the owners would have patience with him.
Hopefully, and the ideal outcome is keeps Ipswich up. It’s either option A or B imo. If they go down, do you reckon that would hamper his chances of joining a big team or will he pull a Vincent Kompany move?
😂 So McKenna will solve manutd issue? Promoting Ipswich isn’t same with manutd current challenges. He should try managing lower premier league clubs first before attempting manutd.
Back to back promotions??? An achievement only matched by managerial giants such as….. Nigel Adkins, Joe Royal and Paul Lambert….. does this qualify him for 2 of the biggest jobs in the country?

Option A! He would do his career a huge favor by sticking with Ipswich and trying to keep them in the prem.
Option A. Needs to do his rookie Prem season. After that, skies the limit.
