He’s the best player I’ve ever seen play for our club. So grateful to have him. I’ve been lucky enough to meet him a couple of times and he’s a super nice guy too
As an AIK-supporter (the team he played for between the ages 5-16, before being sold to BVB), I can easily say he's the best player I've seen in the club. Andreas Alm (the manager that took him to the first team in 2016 and later got sacked that same season) got a question from a reporter after a pre-season friendly where Isac scored (this was basicly his professional debute, playing in front of the home crowd), along the lines of "Hey, this Isac fellow, he can really become something, right?" and Alm responeded "No, he's already something". At that time, Isac had just turned 16. My best memory is however when he scored those 2 goals in the derby against Djurgården on his 17:th birthday. It's a big game, 30 000 in attendence and a top notch atmosphere.
Isak and Gyökeres. The Swedish national team have a good attack for the future. We have a bunch of talented midfielders too. Now we just need to solidify on the backend.

( i didn't know who he was so i googled quickly the starting line up and found his name-and the transfer history) even though he did not have any real opportunities to get the ball i was amazed by him. and suddenly i believe it was the first time he received the ball near the box and he proceeds scoring this amazing goal humiliating the defense in the process and wining the game for Willem II. I knew INSTANTLY that he will make a name for himself. amazing player
The reason everyone is now talking about Isak is the introduction of Tonali into the 6 position, freeing up the NUFC creative players to express themselves and provide proper service. He’s always been world class, but now has the support to show it.
Don't overlook the almost psychic link Isak has to our Murphy , they just have such a perfect understanding...it started at our away match at Goodison when Isak jinked the ball along the back line, leaving Everton defenders looking useless , he then crossed the ball to Murphy coming in to to right side of Pickford & boom, it was in. Yes, it was an assist for Isak but, to us, it was Isak's !

being an nufc fan and watching him every game its more than just the clips you see that make him so good, obviously his dribbling is insane but his knowledge of the game and his movement is perfect and doesnt get mentioned enough his output is massively improved when you play an intelligent passer like bruno G in behind him because he gets the service that he needs

I really hope we can keep isak for as long as possible. He's the best striker we've had since shearer, and it's not even close. And he's our new mackem slayer 🖤🤍
The comparison is always made with the version of Henry at the top of his game. Isak is only just starting. Starting faster and better than Henry. IMHO
Isak didnt fail at Dortmund. He was put in the freezer at arrival by the "great" Thomas Tuschel. Ironically he turned down an offer from real Madrid to get to a club known for developing talent. Little did he who there was an internal conflict in Dortmund. The club made the signing without consulting Tuschel. Tuschel and Dortmund almost destroyed his career. A player with less mental strenth would never have come back from that.

Isak would literally be the perfect Barca striker. Honestly, the moment Newcastle has a top consistent right winger, Isak will blow up and it will be very clear how much better than Haaland he is. Right now, he has Murphy to his right, and he is very inconsistent. But you can clearly see how well Isak does every time his wingers are at the level, and when that's not the case, he starts getting more assists and less goals.
What does Isak´s abillitys unik is he have a gentleman style, fast, elegant, distinct, good target eye and technical as few. He also do other player better. I just want us to get a fair chance of competing at the top, and after two windows with no funding due to PSR, we fully deserve to be in the position we're in this season.
