I love the way it's right next to the existing line. I live near Southam and 5 or 6 years in and not a metre of track laid from what I can see. It's ironic really that HS2 have constructed more miles of enabling roads than the total length of track to be laid.

Whats the purpose of leaving those foundations 4:40 underwater?
The water is likely used on site, eg dampening down dust, rather than using water from a stream or pipe.
Truly shocking waste of public money!
