Aeropress is the go! Backup for me is instant coffee. Also, gotta love a rat pack coffee with some condensed milk in a tube 😂 I remember things being so rough that seemed like a highlight of my day 😅 Great video! I think another option would be Turkish coffee.
Hey Dude! Great video! I'm an espresso drinker but I like a good moka pot coffee when camping! However, When I need to go very minimalistic, like long hikes or canoe trips, I will bring conical paper filters and pre-ground coffee and it will look a little like your little japanese pour over pouch. The difference is I need to stick a twig in the filter to hold it over my cup. Cheers!
Didnt see your comment sorry mate. I do have a moka pot and I am very good at not getting a good coffee out of it. Tried for ages without luck. The filters make perfect sense if your hiking though for sure.
I enjoyed watching that drinking my crap instant nescafe, I liked the grinder, I might look into that, that's such a beautiful place I'd be in my elimement just sitting there listening to the morning bird chorus having a brew, great video as always shayne 🏴
I’m a big fan of the coffee and condensed milk in a can, bloody delicious. It reminds me of Vietnamese coffee. It used to come in a tube , but can’t find the tubes any more.
Coles organic instant coffee black no sugar, when lm bush ,simple and easy. First drink of the day water then black tea, followed by a coffee before l leave camp. Best coffee from a coffee shop and a good barista, can’t be beaten.
If you enjoy espresso coffee, wacaco minipresso goes alright. You can get a pod version too if that's your thing. I have that and a jetboil to keep me sane. Keep creating content mate, love ya work!
Cheers mate. I do have one from my motorcycle camping days. Works well, but only small coffees. I found I needed 3-4 of them. I do have a jet boil in the setup. I tend to keep one in the horse float and the gas cooker in the cruiser.
I was using the wacaco picopresso for a while. It was good and made very good coffee but needed to much maintenance and could be finicky at times. I’ve replaced it with a pod machine. I should have done this years ago.
@@aussiecue I’m using a Nespresso plug in machine. For a manual one the wacaco mini presso ns works well. I had one and gave it away when I bought the picopresso which I regret now.
I had the nanopresso when i was motorcycle camping. It was great for that. I just found it didn't make a big enough cup. What is the current draw on your pod machine mate?
I just bought the Moka 9 cup jobby, 420ml in the tank. That should do it I hope for the 4x4 camping. So realistically two mugs of coffee. I could run a machine in my rig but usually by morning my amp hours are low if running a diesel heater and I need to get on the move again. happy using the jet boil burner or the gas cooker. And to Haveacrack76, I also have the Nano for biker camping. Certainly a trade off for everything when it come to bikes hey mate! But gets the job done I guess. @@scottsokolenko3718
your entitled to Luxury, you would be surprised how many people on holidays drop in to the roadhouse asking for ground coffee as they bring their coffee machines with them on holidays

I have to do an update of this video. Aeropress is still the go, but I have been given some other things to try too

Its a ripper spot mate. I reckon you would love it.

I still find it in the tube from IGA. I think you can get it online with Woolworths.
Love me some coffee. Enjoy my AeroPress! Never seen milk in toothpaste container
I love the aeropress mate. Milk in a tube. Its a thing ;)

Black instant! Wow mate, thats hardcore! I couldnt do that. 100% agree on the barista though ;)
we have a minipresso - haven't used it yet but heard good things
Ahh yes, I have one of those too. I used it for motorcycle camping. Only makes a small coffee though.

Bro, you have to try a Moka pot. You still need flame (or induction) but it makes an amazing brew, every time.
I have one, but Ive never been able to get a really good brew from it. It may just be that its an el-cheapo one. Might be worth trying again.

Hey Scott, Is that the manual pod press or a plug in one that you use? I'm looking for something that can make a strong 300ml of black

Oh I have no doubt mate. Realestate is a premium in the cruiser. If I ever get a camper trailer, that may change.
