Those splash guards are hit and miss with a love/hate thing... they minimize splatter but if left on a while, when you lift them, they have a lot of built up condensation AND oil and when you tip them, everything will run off onto the surrounding stove or back into the pan. I went back to what my late mom used.... newspaper. And in all my years of cooking, no newspaper splatter guard has EVER caught fire. As for the burger cook method, I do the same thing but just not as long each side because I like my burgers medium. good vid!!

Pretty interesting way to cook....I almost would rather cook frozen patties than raw patties, especially this way

yes, ideally in the fridge but you can thaw it in cold water outside of the fridge (still in their plastic packaging) if you're in more of a time crunch

You don't need oil. Just a little cooking spray. The burgers make their own oil. Checker's cooks their burgers frozen, no oil needed.

Almost like you read the directions on the package you removed the bag from. Brilliant!

Guarantee directions don't call for a cast iron or a splatter guard...those two tips alone make the video worth it.
