Daniel, thank you for this video. I only got 2 hours of sleep last night because every time I went to sleep I woke up an hour later screaming my head off. I was so disturbed by not knowing why I was screaming that I just stayed up the entire rest of the night. I can only guess it's all the stress that has been piling on from school and work, there is also high risk of wildfire in my area which doesn't help the stress. One of the biggest things keeping me going are book releases, specifically this one and let me tell you, when I saw your newest video after a calming shower I SMILED (almost cried). The thing about endings for me, especially in action-packed stories, movies, or videogames is that I'm searching for that theoretical "high-five" moment from the author where I'm jumping for joy at satisfying resolution. Our characters don't necessarily hafta win, they just need to reach a ending that makes sense within the context of the narrative.

Seriously y'all, Halo lore is ridiculously amazing, interesting, and well though out. People I tell be like yeah, yeah whatever. People I tell who then actually start reading the Halo stuff be like, "Yeah, yeah, whatever... HOLY ******* DUDE THIS IS AWESOME" It's way better than you would think from the games. Take the "I read every halo novel, and became the master chief of halo" video for example.
