I wouldn't tinker with the defence much in the summer unless we lose 1 or 2 players. Look really solid under a manager who sets the team up well. Pickering would be my 1st choice left back with Gent to back him up. Midfield and forward line need strengthening more...

I know we talk about the squad being stretched but we have a lot of subs that are not getting any game time: Billy Koumetio -yet to make an appearance Markanday - has done ok in some games, not easy when coming for 10 mins in a game we are losing Siggy - played less than half a game as sub recently Moran - should be refreshed now Zak Gil - surely deserves a chance O'Riordan - looked okay, played regularly for Crewe Semir Tel - needs more game time Ayari - looks as crap as the rest of the team haha I honestly don't think the drop off in quality is that big there.
For eustace conments, it wasn't a norwich dominated first half we had our fair share of chances but overall a draw was a fair result and i dont think anyone can complain. For a mailbag question, there is more to do with the animosity around the fanbase, is there something the club could look into where they bring a little more humanity to the club. Having players be more active reprisenting the club outside of matchday, similarly to buckleys live streaming. Maybe live questions and answers every so often.
Completely unrelated to Rovers, but related to this show. Just wanted to let Mike know I'm reading a book about my local 1970s North American Soccer League team. I'm in the 1975-76 chapters now, and it has mentioned Eusebio a few times since he was playing in the US, and you've now forever ruined how I read that name.

Question for the mailbag: It was clear to me that we were lacking an extra player in midfield on Saturday against Norwich due to us playing 5 at the back and them being so wide. What would be your preferred alternative formation that Eustace should/ will work on - I.e. plan b?
I'd say we drop one of the front three backwards and the others playing Central and let the wingbacks get further forwards to offer that width, so for example having buckley tronstad and garrett with a front 2 of gally szmodics. 3-5-2 instead of a 3-4-2-1
Shame this is a day old Wow what a difference this pod cast would if been after the Newcastle game. Looks like rovers have found 5 new players last night and a keeper thought we was brilliant..
