Have a neice that drives these B doubles roadtrains!!! From cairns too Perth far north east Australia too Perth south west of Australia!!! Completes in 4 days going easy!!! Beautiful trip!!! Carry's up too 100 tonnes or more each trip!!!! Kenworth does not fail her!!!
I drive quad side tippers in Queensland, 113 ton payload, back couple trailers sure like to sway in real life
Tip for shifting, don't shift too low in the rpm range, and don't skip gears too quickly, pulling over 90 tons is too heavy to skip gears too quickly. Don't shift down one too many gears, it just sounds bad, and when using jakes, don't let the engine rev too high it's just not practical.

That trailer combo is called a b quad
double B double good concept
It's correct designation is BAB Quad. Only used in very remote locations, far too long to enter cities.
@@benson1515 for example: the outback in Australia, we quite frequently see either b doubles, triples and the occasional quad
Its called a b qaud nothing else i drive them . And a left hand drive 108 areodyne. Never made one ever .
@@troytuckwell3610 I don't think that's correct. BAB Quad and ABB Quad are both recognized quad configurations.

The best thing is that you do see road trains that big in Australia...
My work uses them for short hauls. 200 metric tonne loads in one train
We even have proper Quads.

these are called doube b's..a
a proper road train starts at :
2 40 footers and a twin or tri axle
3-5 40 footers 2-4 dogs..

very seldom do I see this combination on the road this would be classed as a multi combination double b..
typicallty in the a-b format in triple quads or quins, a-a-b/a-a-a-b/a-a-a-a-b
I do not know many truckies that would run 2 axle dogs most tripple axle trailer and dogs
whilst this can be classed as a road train technically by australian laws it would be classed as a multi combination
though my original statement is still practiced as road trains from 2-5 40 footers where allowed in australian..

people saying its not a road train. tow this in australia its a road train. hence the signs you must display. how can a 36 meter x2 45footers and a dolly be a road train but not a 53meter to 56 meter combination that has 2 45footers and a dolly 21foot trailers

Where did you get the truck?
You really should have a third driver axle. Most Australian road trains have 3 drive axles.
i didn't have a tri drive mod when I made this video, so you do what you can with what you have at the time :-)

Since we only have road trains and B doubles only in Australia he's driving on the wrong side of the bloody road
And unfortunately we don't have any Aussie maps for this game so when in the US we drive to the right , if you want to drive on the left you need to use Euro Truck Simulator 2 and go to the UK
We have multi combination trailers in Western Australia also known as road train.
Also let him drive the way he wants to drive as this is only a game. Let him enjoy it

this link is for v1.0 which doesnt have the quads. i know ive already got it and tested.

True, but this is American truck simulator...............so left hand drive steering............drive on the right

i tried using this link but it doesen't come up in the mod manager and i tried using the 1.28 temporary beta and it didnt work help pls
