This villain isn't bad,in fact i think Nerisa is on par with both velvet and veneer but she really looked like she was a true friend from her believable expressions in her human/good mermaid form but straight up turned evil out of nowhere,i was actually shook.At first was already thinking she was bad but it changed when i watched the movie to then realize her amazing manipulation,she really is a villain 8/0(velvet and veneer are still better tho 9/10)
Why couldn't the twist be that Chelsea was actually Narissa's adopted daughter instead of being Narissa herself? Also, why couldn't the krakens & merfolk team up to tack down Narissa (who the merfolk saw her as a corrupted leader)?
I have theory for the next movie (if there is going to be a next one) that Chelsea's backstory was that she was actually Nerrisa's daughter, but her mother died, automatically making Chelsea the new queen. And Chelsea decided to take revenge by taking her mother's name and using the Trident to make herself look like her mom, in honor of her Mom's death. I think that Chelsea would think if she turned herself into her mom, then everyone would think thats it's Nerrissa taking revenge when its actually her daughter. It would basically be Chelsea's way of saying "I want everyone to think that you took your revenge mom"
Chelsea is actually good. She attacked ruby for a specific reason. Rubys grandmother got rid of chelseas mom whoch made her get revenge. Chelsea has the arial design to tell viewers watching the movie she is pure heart ❤️
Dream works made this movie bc they are against Disney, and they hate mermaids, and also they want everyone watching it to hate mermaids, but it seemed to backfire, because everyone is loving Chelsie 😂
