I’m really sad that this movie didn’t turn out to be a critical or commercial success like The Bad Guys or Puss In Boots: The Last Wish. Dreamworks was at an all time high with those movies, and now we’re back to the mediocrity that they are known for. Granted, a lot of their older movies have received cult followings in the present day (e.g. Road To El Dorado, Bee Movie and Megamind), so I hope the same goes for Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken.
Such a wasted ending, as it was stated from official side that Chelsea was genuine in saying she was lonely. And they changed the ending to Chelsea=Nerissa so that Rubys mom ain't a killer... Absolute dumb coward move.
