I love that guy's collection. Oh, and I had a turbografx 16 with the turbo CD as a teenager, and one of my friend had a Neo Geo, so lots of great memories watching this episode.
I respect the fact that you paid 70% for that stuff. That’s what should be done for quality stuff. I like these type of episodes. Always fun seeing what other people have.
Great way to send your store into bankruptcy
Its not like he looked up the games one by one on pricecharting and cut 30% off. He just calculated a quick estimate in is head in like 30 seconds like he always does. So basically probably still got them for half value.
@@hellhammer5504you’re underestimating what he makes from RUclips and his deals from other people that come into the store everyday. He will not be hurting from paying more than normal on just a couple of deals.
@@hellhammer5504 makes sense it’s okay break even on quick movers to get people into your store for either extra purchases or have them return.

It's a good idea to pay 70 percent not only for foot traffic into your store but also to establish a good relationship with this guy because his collection is crazy and he clearly knows how to find quality products

With all his overhead he has to pay half of what he charges. 50% tops

The Turbo Express was used as a prop in the Will Smith Gene Hackman movie Enemy of the State. For placement in the movie, they used the handheld as a method of watching videos captured by a motion detection camera. If you haven't seen this film, take the 2 hrs and do so. It is an excellent action-packed thriller.
Rick you’re generous and honestly if I owned a video store I would only pay 50% of the value. I don’t know how you’re profitable paying that much for games. Yet, again you are well known so you probably get more foot traffic than most video game stores.

I appreciate the fact that you tell us how much you paid for the games and consoles. You see alot of resell channels that never tell you anything regarding price and all they say is that they got a good deal.
I like seeing other folk's collections. I wouldn't even mind seeing you visit some other stuff outside of games, if you run into anyone interesting
Dude i cant tell u how many battles of north and south we had in the neighborhood growing up, all of us would stay up all night playing
Turbo was amazing... i went to the Turbo Graphx event they held in NJ at William Paterson University (College I believe a the time) when I was a kid.

Great haul! I had the turbografx 16 when it first came out. Nobody I knew had that system. Later picked up 2 turbo express handhelds brand new. All sold off many years ago but crazy how that stuff has skyrocketed.

had a kid in high school that was autistic though he could function normally but he was super into NeoGeo and would do youtube videos and stuff about them and he would mod them and all that jazz, he loved that console. he actually created something during school that went on to get patent.

Didn’t know you were in arkansas, game exchange in HS is fire, gamestops going out of business find decent deals in the one in HS, cool card shop In Bryant right off interstate, pawn shops in small towns
That stack of Vita games got me so excited! I wish we could have seen all of them laid out. Sadly, it's very rare you see any Vita games in stores anymore.

I had the TurboGrafx handheld with the TV tuner adapter at one point. I wish I had all my old game stuff. I had a Sega CD and a neogeo too .....
I dropped my phone when that Duo in box came un...😢 whoa...
