I actually did go to the concert when I was a kid my dad took me. So that's a special memory for me since my dad recently passed away a couple months ago
Dude i am from south africa i have seen "cool of ice" with vanilla ice in. Love your stuff. Myself and my son and daughter love your videos. Much love from South africa
Very cool. But I'll always believe that you gotta go wall to wall carpet for a good game room. No hate, but I just need a nice soft floor that sometimes you wanna sit down on.
Kevin eastman is from the town i live in!! Iv met someone older who tells me he used to show kids his drawings in the park(when he was younger). Westbrook is known for the river being very polluted at the time. The river rats looks like something out of a Movie
Retro Liberty - NES pursuit. That’s the original Aaron and Ricky game hunting video channel. Plus the Morning Mug Aaron did with NEScomplex . I’ve met David at Too Many Games as well as Russ Lyman. I need to make it to a Convention so I can meet You, Rick as well as Riff. Ricky and so many others 🤘🏼
I absolutely love game room tour videos. There’s one thing I can say about Nintendo and gaming in general. And that is you typically get to share it with people. And sharing the game room makes us feel like a part of you. Thanks again!
Working at toys r us was honestly one of the funnest and craziest jobs I’ve had haha I was late in 2012-2016 era but lots of good things to see and collect
Rick you are putting together such a great series of game room tours. Thanks so much for making these videos. I don’t collect video games myself, but somehow watching these videos is very satisfying for me.
BetaMax was a video format invented by Sony. The overall quality of the video was superior to that of VHS, but as we all know VHS dominated. Sony tried many video formats over the years but did not get lucky until they came out with Blu-Ray. Blu-ray went head-to-head with HD DVD, but I am glad Blu-ray won.
One thing that I noticed with game room video tours is that most collectors go for black furniture and black walls. I know that this is probably an aesthetic choice but visually it doesn't make sense to me. A black background seems like the worst way to display things. It mutes everything in the foreground and makes the space feel smaller more crammed, where white would do the opposite. White walls and furniture create visual breathing space and make colors pop more.
"Money and Nintendo, I like those 2 things" being said after a picture of Uncle Scrooge....the chance was right there to put Caleb wearing his Scrooge shirt into the video
i have beta max and they would use the correct size for the cassette never seen a vhs box for beta but it maybe a rare thing who knows lol good collection tho love it
Rick you only knew of Vanilla Ice from the Ninja Turtles??? WHAT??? He's one of the biggest rappers of all time, Ice Ice Baby goes platinum every year still to this day (I think as far as downloads according to Vanilla Ice)... The album Too the Extreme helped to fund Death Row Records. 🤘😁👍
Retro Liberty was the name of Pixel Game Squad's previous iteration. The NES Pursuit was their game hunting series. Rick's obviously a bad friend who never really watched.
I would like to know how many of y'all remember Nintendo giving away a copy of the original Dragon Warrior for the NES with a paid subscription to Nintendo Power. I got my first edition of N.P. when the Nintendo Fun Club News Letter ceased publication. From there I was hooked. N.P. started off as a bi-monthly publication, but it wasn't long before the magazine went monthly. Nintendo was always adding bonuses and extras, and even the occasional bonus issue (making it 13 issues for a particular year,) with your paid sub. Nintendo Power was the longest-running magazine to be totally published in-house. Meaning they did everything themselves. Unfortunately, I do not remember when NOA subcontracted their magazine to another publishing house. Someone, please assist.
My favorite channel is mine...this is my 2nd fav channel...great video

I love that I Drove All Night song by Roy Orbison on the White Knuckle Scorin tape. Good stuff. I think his version is better than Cyndi Lauper's.
Working at toys r us was honestly one of the funnest and craziest jobs I’ve had haha I was late in 2012-2016 era but lots of good things to see and collect
@DavidA Fantastic Collection WOW! Right down to the turntable with the TOTK platter 😊

Definitely very efficient. Shelves are from Ikea.

Did you forget about DVD and CDs? Sony played a big role in both of those.
Awesome game room. Well curated and out together.
Thank you!! 🙌🏻
I still wish beta woulda beaten vhs. I love how compact they were. Same with mini disc vs cds.
Amazing room
All I can think is, I do not want to be the one dusting all those figures 😂😂😂
Good to see another photographer/gamer out there!

Very dangerous to have all those valuables so low down in a basement. They all flood eventually. Great setup though

Crazy collection .. just wondering how he stored his childhood stuff and everything he kept over the years if he never had a game room precovid
I use to listen to Vanilla Ice. Also, one time my buddy and me went to school dressed like Kriss Kross. Good times!

Retro Liberty was the name of Pixel Game Squad's previous iteration. The NES Pursuit was their game hunting series. Rick's obviously a bad friend who never really watched.
