@15:27 so cool, i got the same ones but in tmnt theme. actually brushed my teeth as a kid with the leo one and remember beeing so sad when it was replaced by a new one.
As someone who has a small game room I can really appreciate the layout and decorating of a smaller space. Honestly looking at the space its probably only a little bit smaller than my game room which actually has a similar ceiling
9:38 My best friend in the 80s had that tv/NES. His father bought it when it came out to give to him for his Birthday months later. Sadly his father died in a car crash about 6 weeks before my friend's birthday, so he never got it on his Birthday because he didn't tell his wife about it. He hid it in the workshop closet for years. My friend and his mom didn't like going to the workshop but before my friend went to college in the early 90s he asked me to help him clear out his father's workshop. He donated most of his father's tools to local high schools, when we got to the storage closet we found a huge box gift-wrapped with a card on the side with my friend's name. He called his mom out to show her and then he opened it. not only did they both cry but so did I. He remembered asking his dad for it for his birthday the year his dad died. We set up it and played it for a week before he left for college. He still has it and the box with all the paperwork :) he plays it with his kids now
The Animal! I had one after begging anyone that would listen for a B-day gift. Within 1 hour of playing with it, me and my older brother decided to send it, full speed into my grandma's in-ground pool, because of course, it could swim.... toast. Repressed memory unlocked. Thanks Rick...
I had an Animal truck as a kid. I totally forgot about those things. I still have my Tandy Armatron from Radio Shack though. It's over 40 years old and still works.
Hi there 🙋♂️I love that his games room is in his closet a very nice space. I like some of his merchandise including the NES games cart that holds his NES and games. I also like his Super Mario Bros brush it looks good. He has such an awesome collection including all of his NES and SNES games 😊 18:06
I've seen most of those nostalgic Super Mario items back in the day in Woolco. One thing which I haven't seen anywhere are these diorama Super Mario 1, 2 and 3. They were selling these in 1991, they looked cool but I couldn't afford them at the time (I was a kid). Wished I kept my stuff, all I have left is an officially licensed bookmark of Super Mario from '88. NESaddict has quite the collection!
I didn’t realize NES Addict was so close to me…or at least he sounds like he is. I live in South Carolina as well a couple of hours from Greenville / SEGE which it sounds like he may be near.
That is so cool oneday ill fix part of my basement up for a gameroom..... If your ever in east TN/ southwest VA come to R & D Games in weber city VA he has a great store Charles is an awesome guy from classics to New stuff.... Love all your Content it takes me back to my childhood thank you for that my son and I want to get out and go antique mall/goodwill hunting now....
I have literally a little nook that is my game “room”. It’s 4ft 4” wide and 7ft long and 8ft ceiling I got er packed up but I game in that area all the time
I would take this Gameroom over those Gamerooms that have all those high dollar games or full sets of certain systems. Especially when the full set was bought instead of slowly building it up. This one just has more soul into it.
3:50 That’s funny cuz I was just cleaning my garage and came across my toys when I was little, I’m 41 now. Found my Blue/Grey Hippo & can’t find my yellow/brown cat 😩
Never seen this Nintendo Cabinet for sure, really awesome to see this. In fact, that whole game room is 🤯🤩... 41 is NOT old Rick goddammit! 🤣🤣That chair was amazing. There was so much great stuff in his collection, truly amazing to see all of this. The NES was my favorite console, I had one as a kid, absolutely loved played that thing, one of the few consoles I ever had. A CRT with an NES in, I didn't even know those excited. So many cool games 🤩🤩So many cool collectibles, insane!! Greatly enjoyed watching this 🤟
Thanks for introducing us to another cool youtuber Rick, I went and subbed to his channel like you wanted. Keep up the good content man! Hope the new store is going well.
Awesome vintage stuff dude 😎 your lucky I wouldn't want to leave that room if I had one like that your videos are excellent have a good one tommy tbone 👍
I had the N64 cart I wish I kept it! Had the bottom drawer to store the n64 games and the top you would have the n64 and close the lid to cover it when not in play

Jay is one of the best people out there. Glad to get this tour on the channel Rick!
:) like wise my dude!
I love what he did with the space. The blue shelf might be my favorite, but I also love that he has several tvs.
It's amazing that he even has a 'Super Naturals' action figure. The holograms on toys and cards were big in the 80's too.
Thanks for noticing!
@15:27 so cool, i got the same ones but in tmnt theme. actually brushed my teeth as a kid with the leo one and remember beeing so sad when it was replaced by a new one.
That’s a huge closet!
I still have my Kevin doll in the box! Creepy as hell and I love it.

Love wild water and wheels!! They are actually closing it down for good this year.
Wow that Animal truck brings back some good times, had that same one. Loved it!!
That closet is such a perfect space for a game room. Love it
Retro wolf almost bought a chair like that a while back at a garage sell. He passed on it and said he regretted it

😭 noooo not the animal!
16:37 I own that little black Nintendo furniture. It’s for the NES, one drawer for games and the other one for 2 controllers et one zapper.

Editing those shed comments must've been tough for Riff. RIP shed.
Man, I had that zelda placemat as a kid. Wish I knew what happened to it
Awesome little room I've been looking for an Animal I had that same one as a kid.
I've seen Home Alone many times over the last 30 years, but I've never seen that Kevin doll.
Nice, I recently completed the global licensed catalog for the NES
To be honest: that closet is like the size of an appartement in New York or Tokyo. :D
Such a wonderful use of space. Great tour Rick and Jay!
That closet is bigger than some bedrooms. My closet is just big enough to hang clothes in 😂
You didnt mention the light gun zapper lamp....thats cool. I want one 🤣

I had one of those Nintendo TV stands when I was a kid. I think My mom got it from Kmart? I wish I still had it, but I think it broke.
I have one of those carts. Kmart was the only store in our town at the time so I think that is where they came from.
The animal 😮, wow , now I feel realy old 🤣
Riff just found that mario stand in his video he posted today what are the odds
How do you know Hello is Fresh? BTW: Dig the Blink 182/Green Day Pop Disaster thingy.
That is the same exact crt I have.
8:40 I think your editor has a Crush.... 🤫
