    It really is the best! Because of your reviews I purchased a Flash 190mm for my Norco Range 6 months ago. The performance is outstanding! Very supple yet so supportive through the whole travel, it blows every Fox 40 and Boxxer i have owned out of the water.
    You should do another single vs dual crown test but with the Intend Flash vs Intend Infinity

    What i love on intend edge is the ease of service and the fact that gettign bushing and other parts will be easy as those are industry standard. Yes it costs a lot but its definitely a fork that you will have no problem to fix in 20 years which i cant realy say about other fork manufacturers.

    I agree, Intend is the best performing fork out of the box, but have you tried the Avalanche damping cartridge?

  • @FINNdeischgut
    @FINNdeischgut 3 месяца назад +2

    The Intend Edge, Hero and Flash have now been upgraded. There is now also the Blackline with high-quality protectors if you prefer to ride with protectors. The internal friction has been reduced again, the damper cartridge has been improved and you can now adjust the travel in 1mm increments without having to take the suspension fork apart. So the Flash from 160 to 190mm, the Hero from 150 to 180mm and the Edge from 140 to 170mm. I think you would really like the new Edge or Hero too, maybe even a little bit better, even though the "old" version is already incredibly good. Maybe Intend will send you one to test so you can do a review. Intend made a video on RUclips where all the new features were explained. In German though, but there are English subtitles 👍

    Do you see a reasonable difference between axle diameters on one crown intend forks? Is traditional 15mm enough or should one consider to move to 20mm to get more stiffness?

    • @RULEZMANSUSPENSION
      @RULEZMANSUSPENSION  7 месяцев назад +2

      I do not see any difference, rather than having only troubles swapping wheels if my fork use 20mm axle while 99% of friends and other mine bikes use 15mm.

    Also love to support brands like intend and people like Cornelius who just live their work and the performance and customers count. Not just pure numbers, your a customer and i guess Cornelius wont just say ok its my product and your problem, yeah the problem is well known, but we dont have to fix it basically...
    Sendet my lupine light back to them cause a broken cable and told them, it was my fault cause of a crash and they changed the glass, the cabel for free on a 7year old light. A customer of mine had a n issue with his and they asked if he wants an led uprade to the a acual one, repleced akku and led burners for and send it back - the only thing we paid, was to send it to them. And heard a a lot of similar things from intend. In my opinion just this thing in combination with a good bit way from perfect product has its own worth. They will do whats possible to fix your problem in a really fair or more than fair way instead of saying: 2 years are over, we know the problem, bur now it's yours

      Sorry, i'm nit the best if it's about to write things like this in English. It's technical, it's emotional, especially after a lot of disappointments with bigger, wenn known brands which don't even know which forks are exactly behind them after telling you this product don't exist while it's just 1m behind him. Would never happen to people who think like Cornelius
      Hopefully i will get the chance to ride it my next Bike

    Ok, it’s a reason dirt bike and many sport type bikes use inverted forks. It’s far superior to the current fork design. It’s only a matter of time before inverted will be the standard layout.

    Ciao! Avrei un paio di domande. Se hai usato i parasteli per tutto il tempo di prova vuol dire che questa forcella non mi "garantirebbe" una tenuta sull olio senza usare i suddetti. Giusto? E poi ti volevo chiedere se hai già testato qualcosa del genere per una Cross Country. Grazie sei forte!👍🏼

    USD designs are so much better, not only the ride quality, but the stanchions are protected, in my mtb i am always worried about rocks and the stanchion, while in my moto, i dont even think about it.
    Intend dont get it, but gladly you do (talking of the stanchion guards).

    You've been such a huge advocate of the Dorado for quite a while. It's also upside down. Sounds like the fork you compared the Intend directly to (back-to-back) was a "normal" fork (did I get that right?). How does the Intend compare directly to the Dorado? What's the difference in feel? What's makes it better than the Dorado in your opinion?

    3 Forks without problems does say nothing if they are good or bad. Therefore you need way more forks. Also adding some protection to a nearly 2.000€ fork seems not the best price/ value.

    I might not be allowed to ask, but there is actually important to say that not all people are so good trained and light weight like you. That means that a heavy guy, like myself, probably twice the weight of you are not close to get the same performance out of an USD fork. That is just a fact due to the mechanic architecture of the USD vs standard fork.

    • @RULEZMANSUSPENSION
      @RULEZMANSUSPENSION  7 месяцев назад +2

      I have some client at 115 kg kitted riding the intend EDGEs on ebikes with stunning results and fun, but for sure a heavy beefy dual crown (USD - dorado37 i.e. ) would give you a little more stiffness if this is what you look for.

      That doesn't make any sense. If anything USD should be better for heavier riders.
