- 2005 chevy aveo, or rebadged daewoo, whatever you want to call it. First time getting a video of one, figured some of you all would like to see what these things are like fully loaded
This is my absolute dream car. I hope that one day, after countless of years of working hard and saving up money, I will be able to take on a debt large enough to buy myself a beautiful Daewoo.

These are awesome little cars both my parents and I have one, each with well over 200,000 miles. Neither of them ever give us trouble they just keep on going! Really comfortable ride and awesome fuel economy also.
I just got to review an Aveo. I never really liked them, but now I think there nice. Especially with the 5-speed manual.

I love my Aveo, I have a 2005 Aveo LT Hatchback with every single option that could come from the factory, in a nice deep blue color, got it as my first car with 191,000 miles and it's still running strong.
By today's standards, this car gets poor for it's class fuel economy. It's kinda funny how back then it was outstanding in fuel economy and now it sucks.
I’ve seen these in Ecuador, they’re really popular, especially for consumers and taxicabs. Ecuador has a lot of these aveos as taxis and seeing these bring back memories

That's not even a real Chevy dude, that's a daewoo, in America its rebadged as a Chevy and in other countries it's rebadge as a Holden. Chevy did improve their subcompact cars with the sonic.

I just bought a 2008 Chevy Aveo LS 4-door hatchback yesterday, I absolutely love it.
yeah kyle, the locking sound of the car is a universal,, in korea all car use that sound,, i think its a regualtion or a same alarm system the koreans use in korea and i am korean so.. the car's name Daewoo Gentra

the problem is not the car, but the owner..some car owners are irresponsible and ignorant.. you should get your car checked every 2-3 months...and always read the manual and be aware of the possibilities that might happen to your car if your not taking good care of it :)) peace
I don't think these aveos come with manuals because we bought ours new and never found it.
The newer/facelifted ones actually look pretty nice.

I HATE THIS CAR. i just gave our 2005 aveo back to my mother in law and bought a 2004 Mustang GT. This is probably the most underpowered little puddlejumper ive ever owned. All it is is a repackaged Daewoo Kalos. Why Chevy ever let this thing come off the assembly line is beyond me.
The Chevrolet Aveo is a car for smart people who knows that all you need from a car is for it to get you from Point A to Point B. All for just $14,599.

ok its either me or 1) if they call that loaded, then they are out of their minds. you could equip a Hyundai with the same options and it'd still look better by a mile! and 2) is it me or at around 0:38- 0:40 it looks like the bumper has a slight paint mismatch. idk..you guys tell me.

Good car this aveo !! I have got 10 years old Daewoo kalos (same aveo). 1.2 liter engine in the car with 72hp and five speed manual gear shift. Many people use as a family car, in Hungary !!

I was gonna buy this car when I traded in my old one. when I was at the dealership I test drove it, then when we came back the car started smoking. needless to say I didn't buy that car but went with a nissan sentra! lol

This car was originally the Daewoo Kalos. GM eventually acquired Daewoo. Since then the Daewoo Kalos have been renamed the Chevy Aveo, Chevy Kalos & the Suzuki Swift. All these are the same Korean car with multiple names. All cutesy of American taxpayer's money that should've gone towards bringing the American health care system into the 21st. century. A lot of Americans had to sell their homes to afford need health care. Others were heading north to Canada & using OHIP health cards that belonged to Canadian citizens to get needed health care. In response, the Canadian government started issuing secured Health Care cards with photo ID.

gentle285- the one my neighbor has , its an 05'. its automatic though. they have had absolutely NO PROBLEMS at all with theirs. and they put a reasonable amount of miles on it. they travel alot. And its NEVER had a tune up. and they really don't maintain it, for what i know.

Checking the comments to see if anyone knows what that knob is. It looks like a mirror switch but the car is manual mirrors. Maybe the passenger side is power?

@tnguyen318 To die in the process of a small accident, ect. The Aveo is the stupidest Idea ever. For 2 grand more, you could have a Corolla, Civic, or Cobalt that get BETTER fuel economy, safer, and more reliable. And there are such things as used cars.

i have same one not fully loaded tho mine is 2005 aveo ls what is that one lt the rims is the 2004 aveo style rims the 2005 like mine has the origional 05 rims someone switched these! i love mine there really awesome in winter like 4 whell drive with the 4 wheel drive mine has 107,000kms on it dont know how many in miles.

There are only 2 asian rebadges I like in this world. Ford Festivas, and Chevy Aveos. Aveos arent top notch quality but they managed to stay simple in this world of 'computer cars'
ehh not really. im not defending the guy you replied to because im not defending him but yeah kia and hyundai used to be terrible, but they have improved immensley especially with their 10 year/100,000 mile warranty. i wouldnt buy a hyundai or kia just because they dont appeal to me but they defiently aren't garbage. i'm a chevy, honda, and toyota guy

@segadreamcast1994 half of the cars you listed were in the compact class, not the sub-compact like this one. Plus the old rio and accent are not much better than this car is, and the new chevy sonic is one of the best sub-compacts on the market.
