Just got the Wildhorse 7, most of your points hold true for the new model as well. The sole is the same, the uppers have been overhauled. I'm only an occasional runner but I appreciated the react foam and the fit. I've only ran around 30km on them so far (half of it paved) butso far I'm happy. On more technical terrain I find the thick sole isn't very stable and they certainly don't like wet, sleek surfaces. Traction on the dry and loose is excellent, it really makes a difference on the climbs.
@@swiftcolin Well the fit is amazing. It really hugs the foot and even with laces done very tight there are absolutely no pressure points. The padded tongue certainly helps. I just wonder for how long the react foam will remain fresh and shock absorbing. The other thing is that I can't feel the segmented rock plate they advertise. I think it's gone for v7. The front just conforms to the ground and if there's a pointy feature you will feel it.
Great video. I literally just ordered these off Eastbay for $88. Super stoked. Excited for the React foam. I own the Kobe NXT 360 and they also have React foam. Love the springy feel so I’m looking forward to hitting some trails in these!
They have the most lug depth in the nike trail line, but the lugs are a little less significant than something like the Salomon Sense Ride 3 or the Hoka Speedgoat 4, and Nike's rubber compound isn't as sticky as those either. That being said they are not terrible performers is really muddy and wet conditions, just maybe some better options out there.
Thought I’d throw my hat in the ring. Just ordered a pair and tested them in some boggy fields in the UK. Faired pretty well up until I built a thick layer of mud on the soles, I was slipping and sliding but the conditions were extreme. After running through some puddles the mud washed out of the lugs really easily. Felt good running on pavements and roads leading up to the fields, too. Went for the dark blue colour way with black soles and after washing they look like new.
This channel is so underated you deserve more subscribers. Pretty much every trail shoe your doing reviews on I have.
Thanks! Really appreciate that!!

I’ve been wondering about the new upper on the WH7, just ordered the Peg Trail 3, just an upper change on that one as well.

Erik Ibarra awesome! Hope you enjoy them!
Looking forward to your review of WH7!!!
Gotta pick up a pair!!
@@swiftcolin Absolutely! Can't wait!
Great Video☺️ I just ordered 😊
Thanks! Hope you enjoy them!
I purchased the camo looking ones... everyone has this color.
I should’ve went a .5 inch up though as other reviewers say .5 inch is good...
Hope you enjoy them!
Colin Swift yea me too, still waiting on them to arrive in mail.
What are these like on wet muddy trails. I’m from the uk and a little unsure if the lugs will be to short. Thanks

Agree completely, had similar experience!
Cool moustache.
🥸
Are they good for narrow feet?
I would say the toe box might feel a little roomy for narrow feet.
@@swiftcolin Ok Thankyou! Great video by the way 🙌
No prob, Thank you!
