Didn't get anywhere with the record, but it was a lot of fun. I seem to remember we were running Cubase on an Atari, using an Akai S900, and three DA88s for tracking. All that four-to-the-floor dance stuff that became popular in the 90s that owes everything it was to classic disco, even though it considered sacrilegious to compare it to disco. That’s what I liked about it when it started emerging, that it was simply disco made with models like the 800 instead of with first-generation analog synthesizers/sequencers.
