I agree with you 100% Even after having EVERYTHING from the last operation - I went through 422 drops (now) and still have not inched that much closer to completing the reserves due to everything being parted out. It sucks that we see all this cool stuff in the trailers and the only way to get it is by spending money or slogging through hundreds of the same item. Dupes have to go away if it is going to stay like this.
I had saved 120 crates from the last op. I decided to use 20. I got 13 duplicates and a couple character skins/face paint that are not even from the new operation. So I decided to do another 20 to see if it gets better. 11 duplicates this time and once again zero new content. I got vacation Hudson but again that's from the previous operation. To sum it up, out of 40 crates I got 24 duplicates and 0 content from the new operation. I have been a COD customer since COD 2 and this now is really making me for the first time question if I will continue being a customer. :(

MWR has by far the best loot system, as new content came in, it wasn't stacked together. they kept it separate, if you grinded hard enough you COULD actually get everything in the operation and unlock a super special skin for doing so. If you didn't have all the time in the world to grind, you could buy CP and purchase the individual items you wanted (Only downfall is the fact you'd have to unlock 5-6 smaller items to get the gun or melee item behind it(still all really well designed and fresh and nothing like the repetitive face paint bullshit on BO4)
200+ cases later and some shitty reroll items later. Duplicates have to go. And also "variants" of face paints and "rare" skin cosmetics that are just recolors have to go as well. This kind of padding burns people out and generates a bad rep for all people involved in developing this game and it's content. These ultra skins and what not, an artist and developer worked hard to make these. It feels like a slap in the face for both if its never gonna see the light of day if its so hard and down right impossible to get in the first place. The reserves just don't seem worth trying to if no one had a good chance of getting the good content they show in the trailer if it's just flooded with garbage and the only way to earn it is by just plain luck. This kind of treatment can only go for so long till it becomes to much and brings them down. Some cases loot boxes are outlawed in other countries because they are considered gambling. Just look at battlefront and overwatch. If it happened to them it can also happen to treyarch too. No one is that invincible.

I had 545 reserves saved and still did not get all the items. Each weapon has (3) charms / (3) death stances. Each character has (3) new face paints. Each weapon has (2) new camos. They added so much crap, its almost impossible to get all the new stuff.

I learned that lesson in bo3. Got the season pass, the dlc maps were trash, and I was stuck with sweaty lobbies. Skipped IW dlc during it's life span, had an amazing experience...bought the dlc 50% off(summer sale) just for the zombies. WW2, skipped the dlc bc the maps were not enticing. Bo4, refuse to even think about the dlc maps bc I knew how shitty and anti-consumer treyarch is
I've never bought a season pass and this game proves my reasons why. You're usually playing against much better players. People often tell you to stop whining and get good, but I don't log into CoD to yet frustrated after work on a Friday night. If a game isn't fun to me, I'll be playing something else... especially if the devs get this lazy.

This last blackout update is complete trash they're forcing people to play this bounty hunter mode by taking out both Alcatraz and hot pursuit.Once u start playing respawn fast pace modes in blackout the traditional modes just suck ass
I don't agree entirely with the 100 camos since most of them are bland common variants but at least the Updates improved greatly with New Weapons and Content. Besides, the Camos were earned for each Weapon Category as you said so getting a new camo felt at least rewarding. Glad I didn't pick up Black Ops 4. Lmao!
Yesterday I reached lvl 5 of Prestige 10, but I asked myself why should I waist my time in this painful game, no good weapons, absurd ttk, nothing new for months, tons of stupid stickers outfits etc, your endless jumps, an incredible amount of bugs, kill streaks like drone squad that kills no one unbelievable , collision system full of mistakes, the smg's that need 30 bullets to kill someone at 20 meters. This year I will not reach Master Prestige, Treyarch I will not reach Master Prestige even if you pay me back the money of the game!!! Treyarch/Activision , you wanted to start a gunfight with us, but we don't joke anymore and we don't forget so easy, you are in our sights right now, you loose baby. Dude it's even worth reaching master prestige all u get is a bunch of sweaty ass lobbies with uneven balanced teams basically u get all the scrubs and get placed vs full 6 man party's who are all master prestiged

Treyarch has incorporated the most predatory business practice ever seen in a COD game. This is worse than BLOPS 3 and that was awful. Looking forward to playing Modern Warfare 4 and buying it used.
I have deleted Black Ops 4. I'd lost my interest earlier when I completed the contraband stream of The Grand Heist, but I don't want to play this game anymore. I'm constantly using the same guns on the same maps with the same annoying specialists. There is NOTHING to work towards. There is no incentive for me to play because loot is based on playtime and I'm not enjoying my playtime in BO4. And Treyarch constantly screwing us over and over. WW2 was SO MUCH BETTER. We got free maps, a lot of weapons, daily challenges to earn supply drops and A LOT of events. There was so much post-launch content in that game that I couldn't even keep up. Best thing is: I've earned almost all DLC weapons with supply drops only (didn't buy them) because I didn't grind armory credits. The further we get in BO4's lifecycle the more I miss WW2
i went back to ww2. i have every single dlc gun. havent spent any money for getting them. some of them i got with armory credits, and some of them i got randomly from boxes. i have still over 80 000 armory credits. i play few hours zombies a day and i get something like 20 boxes per day. but my biggest issue with bo4 is REALLY FUCKIN UNFAIR CONNECTIONS.

Totally agree with you dude. I still have all of my pre order CoD points as I dislike this loot system so much, I know it's still all Activision but I'd rather spend those points in WW2 or MWR than in BO4s loot system.

when you got into the game and checked new orders, you had always something to go for. and i loved it cause 75% of the orders was out of my safetyzone so i had to play different modes etc. +all the contracts

To be honest, the gaming community needs to be more open with boycotts. Battlefront 2 was a miracle. I really used to play black ops 4 so much but have become so uninterested and sometimes i sit on my dashboard and think wtf happened to the great feeling of wanting to play call of duty i thought i would never feel like this. But with the lack of content and anti-consumer friendly system of getting in game content. Sucked out the life for me i still have fun time to time but it doesn’t give me that same feel it used to have in black ops 3. I hope things get better i just hope for the best and hope they listen to all of us and most importantly you Ace. You have the voice to get recognition. Im just as sad as you are about this game.

Everything is pushed to upscale Blackout, even zombies took a huge hit the first 3-4 months the game was released, just so Blackout could shine... I agree with every word you said. I’ve bought every COD, each year, since Modern Warfare. I’ve also bought the DLC packs for all of them until BO4. Now, unless something drastically changes (i.e. removal of micro transactions or switching to being a free game with micro transactions, removal of duplicates etc), I won’t even be buying the next one.
Every new patch they find a way to make the game even worse and get more greedy they should really get an award for this years COD. Maybe worst company? I think this year they won it fair and square over EA.
@@joser_1295 yeah, they released some new variants in march and apparently in late may or june we get "first batch of new weapons". So been saving supply drops for the last month 😏
They also need to combine the sticker and tag category of items. Stickers are used in emblems and paintshop, and tags are used in your gesture wheel as things you can spray in the map. They're both just pictures, and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use them interchangeably.

Preach Ace. I'm not gonna lie because this is my first COD game multiplayer is still fun for me to some extent but I do agree with you when you say that the reserves system is outright ridiculous. I've been playing this game nonstop since launch date always finding the time to get past 100 tiers on each operation without spending a single penny (I manage to get around 200 tier for operation 0 and Grand Hiest) but not once since the reserves system has been introduced have a gotten a MKII variant weapon aside from the freebie one that they gave us and that's disappointing honestly. Knowing that my chances will only decrease of getting what I want depsite the hours I put into it is depressing and sometimes makes me feel unmotivated to play sometimes knowing that I'll only get crappy stickers, outfits, calling cards or even duplicates that I don't want. Regardless though I'm glad to say that I never spend a penny on any season passes for any game since I have a policy against greedy game industries but I will admit I was close to buying the pass until they decided to launch the free maps weekend the first time around and that's when i made my decision to not buy it cause all the maps are horrible since most of the maps are too big which can leave and feel out of place in gunfights or I notice more toxic players either camping or using long range weapons. Hell I despite the maps so much that I didn't even touch the game last weekend when the maps were free again. I hate the maps and I refuse to support poor map designs or even make any purchases in general unless something changes. While I do love this game for its multiplayer it can do better but sadly I happened to get into COD the moment its considered one of the most stall and disappointing games in the series and I honestly can't blame the fans frustrating with the amount of so called love the multiplayer fan base has gotten all because battle royals are the new thing which honestly sucks

Jaren Cascino yeah I agree, even though free to play games might have their problems here and there, but I have to agree that free to play games are in much better condition and have more updates than these Triple A games now a days, most 60 dollar games like bo4 feel empty and lack content, I just wish triple A games go back to the way they were, where they didn’t focused on micro transactions than having content. I had 545 reserves saved and still did not get all the items. Each weapon has (3) charms / (3) death stances. Each character has (3) new face paints. Each weapon has (2) new camos. They added so much crap, its almost impossible to get all the new stuff.

I learned that lesson in bo3. Got the season pass, the dlc maps were trash, and I was stuck with sweaty lobbies. Skipped IW dlc during it's life span, had an amazing experience...bought the dlc 50% off(summer sale) just for the zombies. WW2, skipped the dlc bc the maps were not enticing. People often tell you to stop whining and get good, but I don't log into CoD to yet frustrated after work on a Friday night. I don't agree entirely with the 100 camos since most of them are bland common variants but at least the Updates improved greatly with New Weapons and Content. Besides, the Camos were earned for each Weapon Category as you said so getting a new camo felt at least rewarding. Glad I didn't pick up Black Ops 4. Lmao!
Yesterday I reached lvl 5 of Prestige 10, but I asked myself why should I waist my time in this painful game, no good weapons, absurd ttk, nothing new for months, tons of stupid stickers outfits etc, your endless jumps, an incredible amount of bugs, kill streaks like drone squad that kills no one unbelievable , collision system full of mistakes, the smg's that need 30 bullets to kill someone at 20 meters.
This year I will not reach Master Prestige, Treyarch I will not reach Master Prestige even if you pay me back the money of the game!!!

I have deleted Black Ops 4. I'd lost my interest earlier when I completed the contraband stream of The Grand Heist, but I don't want to play this game anymore. I'm constantly using the same guns on the same maps with the same annoying specialists. There is NOTHING to work towards. There is no incentive for me to play because loot is based on playtime and I'm not enjoying my playtime in BO4. And Treyarch constantly screwing us over and over. WW2 was SO MUCH BETTER. We got free maps, a lot of weapons, daily challenges to earn supply drops and A LOT of events. There was so much post-launch content in that game that I couldn't even keep up. Best thing is: I've earned almost all DLC weapons with supply drops only (didn't buy them) because I didn't grind armory credits. The further we get in BO4's lifecycle the more I miss WW2

i went back to ww2. i have every single dlc gun. havent spent any money for getting them. some of them i got with armory credits, and some of them i got randomly from boxes. i have still over 80 000 armory credits. i play few hours zombies a day and i get something like 20 boxes per day. but my biggest issue with bo4 is REALLY FUCKIN UNFAIR CONNECTIONS.

WW2 gameplay wasn’t the best but the supply drops and orders were great and it would be great if this game was the same.
when you got into the game and checked new orders, you had always something to go for. and i loved it cause 75% of the orders was out of my safetyzone so i had to play different modes etc. +all the contracts

I actually want to buy cosmetics, the only thing that is stopping me is the loot system. Just be like a normal shop and have everything for sale then let the market set the price. Stop overcomplicating it, I'm not going to spend any money on something random I can't accurately appraise.
If you still need to have an RNG loot system then do that as well. But, reduce the frequency/difficulty of earning them and cut the crap items out that nobody buys. I'd rather open them less frequently, yet be more frequently happy, even if the rate of earning the better items is the same.

I hope that for the sake of COD franchise MW4 brings back the classic style MULTIPLAYER! You remember Treyarch, the community that made this game what we all hoped this (bo4) to be!
I agree with every word you said. I’ve bought every COD, each year, since Modern Warfare. I’ve also bought the DLC packs for all of them until BO4. Now, unless something drastically changes (i.e. removal of micro transactions or switching to being a free game with micro transactions, removal of duplicates etc), I won’t even be buying the next one.
Every new patch they find a way to make the game even worse and get more greedy they should really get an award for this years COD. Maybe worst company? I think this year they won it fair and square over EA.

They also need to combine the sticker and tag category of items. Stickers are used in emblems and paintshop, and tags are used in your gesture wheel as things you can spray in the map. They're both just pictures, and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use them interchangeably.

You hit the nail on the head in this video! I've stopped playing this game awhile ago now. Its sad to see the state its in at the moment I've bin playing CoD forever and seeing it turn into this cash grab is just Sad! And them treating there fanbase like cash cows is disrespectful.

Don't worry guys! This is only because of Activision and not Treyarch. It's not just a coincidence that for BO3 and even more so with BO4, that we've had the most anti-consumer Call of Duty games yet! No, it's 100% Activision, even though the other 2 studios found ways to compromise for more consumer friendly ways to earn content. Yeah! Treyarch is perfect! /s
I haven’t played since the leaves turned brown in blackout. With every update I’m sad that I haven’t missed anything. And thank you for being the hero we need after helping fund the game for six months and now stopping. Soon have MW4 and same cycle. It’s sad

yeah and tbh with all the changes the new guy made to WW2 I'm actually looking forward to what SHG will come up with having a full cycle to develop their next game..sad that I'm already having to look forward to COD 2019-20..

BO4 feels like a “service game” with all the extra pay stuff (season pass, camos, emotes, even weapon reticles!), this is unacceptable when BO4 was retailed as a full priced $60 game!

Preach Ace. I'm not gonna lie because this is my first COD game multiplayer is still fun for me to some extent but I do agree with you when you say that the reserves system is outright ridiculous. I've been playing this game nonstop since launch date always finding the time to get past 100 tiers on each operation without spending a single penny (I manage to get around 200 tier for operation 0 and Grand Hiest) but not once since the reserves system has been introduced have a gotten a MKII variant weapon aside from the freebie one that they gave us and that's disappointing honestly. Knowing that my chances will only decrease of getting what I want depsite the hours I put into it is depressing and sometimes makes me feel unmotivated to play sometimes knowing that I'll only get crappy stickers, outfits, calling cards or even duplicates that I don't want. Regardless though I'm glad to say that I never spend a penny on any season passes for any game since I have a policy against greedy game industries but I will admit I was close to buying the pass until they decided to launch the free maps weekend the first time around and that's when i made my decision to not buy it cause all the maps are horrible since most of the maps are too big which can leave and feel out of place in gunfights or I notice more toxic players either camping or using long range weapons. Hell I despite the maps so much that I didn't even touch the game last weekend when the maps were free again. I hate the maps and I refuse to support poor map designs or even make any purchases in general unless something changes. While I do love this game for its multiplayer it can do better but sadly I happened to get into COD the moment its considered one of the most stall and disappointing games in the series and I honestly can't blame the fans frustrating with the amount of so called love the multiplayer fan base has gotten all because battle royals are the new thing which honestly sucks
