I personally enjoy "hard" climbing both in & outdoor. But, I'd also appreciate anything related to training / diet approaches. Like weekly routines or advice for different strength climbers :).
Yes i think the small details you provide like drilling down with your foot and hand positioning is super helpful, anything that can help us climb better... ...but make sure you're psyched making them. If you're not psyched about the content think we wont be either
I find it difficult to understand the difficulty of outdoor climbs, and enjoy watching indoor more as it's a little clearer how those holds feel as some I have felt. versus outdoors all being condition based and impossible to tell.
Outdoor projects are best! The whole prosess of breaking it in parts, training the moves inside and then going back out to see where you at. It doesnt matter if you top it, the process and strougle really shows trough!
I really like when you take the time to explain the boulders (either inside or outside) and your process to adapt your climb to your strength. I have not been climbing for long and this king à video is perfect! :) And your outdoor project are awesome video! Juste pure hard climbing and high psych to send! Either way, I love your energy! Keep it up! :)
Stories about projecting indoor or outdoor are the best. Talking about the moves, getting to the project, setting the boulder, the history of the problem is all great stuff.
I really don't have a preference, I just enjoy seeing someone who is as excited about climbin as I am and does way harder boulders than myself and whom I can learn from. Be yourself, your content is amazing!
I enjoy your outdoor projecting the most, especialy when you go in depth about the moves and the holds and explain your thoughts on it. The psych is always dope in those videos
hmm good question, the videos I most enjoy are you/cordelia/Rasmus figuring out stuff, either how to force a move while setting or how to do something outdoors. Also just you training is always really inspirational :)
Anything that you get psyched on is super enjoyable to watch - I think the video of you projecting the Big Island was my personal favorite video you’ve put out, just because of the energy in the video and how fun it is watching people really bite down and try hard to achieve.
Personally like watching you're projects both indoor and outdoor, you're comp practice stuff with the teams and most importantly the breakdowns where you explain what's going on i.e. technique positioning etc. As a person who's still trying to improve his climbing I find this soooo helpful and I think it gives a lot of appeal to new viewers and climbers because it helps us get better. I love your videos man keep on going and I def want to see a try hard session between you and your brother. Nothing makes someone push harder then a good bit of friendly competition.
I really enjoy seeing routesetting videos - especially when you and nikken set projects for each other and work on them - I like the way you explain your thoughts on body positioning, etc. when working a hard problem
I like watching you set new boulders with Nikken. Also, climbing with guest climbers is also fun to watch, "meeting" new people. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
My fav vids of you are the outdoor hard projects, you have such passion an insight of what trying hard is and your psyche is at your highest, a pleasur to see
I really enjoy watching you guys set and talk through your ideas, along with anything where you slow down and explain why something is difficult or tricky.
routesetting and the thinking process behind it is always amazing to watch! also seeing you climb at your limit (or other strong guys) is a big inspiration/motivation for my own climbing. Keep up the good work!
Haha that Samuel clip ...and Felix clip. I would very much love a video with Samuel sometime (maybe you guys working that project...) And then a Felix vid with that brother on brother intensity. Thanks for the work you put into this channel--I am a happier person because of it! My favorite videos are ones where we hear/see you (alone or with awesome friends) dissect a boulder or even a move. I love when you get into the details of the movement or analyze holds and small changes in body position. So more of that, please! If you ever think that you're geeking out too much on details or rambling, you're not. You have a great climbing brain and I want to soak in that knowledge as much as possible. Oh, and I'm always more into outdoor content.
Love for the outdoor funsies with Cordelia! I also really enjoy the outdoor projecting content, especially the Big Island story with the replica built and so much dedication. cheers Emil
I love your project vids(in and outdoor) , especially seeing and understanding weird moves. For same reason I also love setting vids. Guest climbers and/or challenges are nice ways to spice things up.
I love all the content Emil! My favorite moments are when regular people try your boulders to give more context as to how hard it is seeing as you cruise everything 💪💪
I love seeing the projects and 'battles' with the boulders. I also really love seeing friendships that you guys have. It's a big part of why a lot of people climb. Great videos by the way and thank you for doing them!
And thank you for watching them! Yeah I'd say one of my favorite videos to make are the ones like when me and NIkken climbed on Ödmjuk two months back. Struggling together and just having fun on projects
You and Eric made me realize how awesome indoor climbing videos can be, and you've really been killing it on your own. Gotta say though, the outdoor bouldering videos will always hold a special place in my heart. Some of those lines are just so beautiful. I'd definitely love to see some more training advice videos from you in the future though! Edit: Also, please come to Hueco Tanks someday. There are so many amazing boulders that are so much your style. Also plenty of FA's to put up.
The Outdoor stuff for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally enjoy watching when you climb with others, Cordelia, Nikkin, your brother (others). I like watching the fun of climbing together. Not the same problems or routes, but just working together to get better, just like all of us when we go out, only you guys are a lot stronger.
Super good videos! Love em!! Personal favourite is when you become quite detailed and technical about the challenges of each problem you climb, zoom in and explain why it's hard. Like in this one, great stuff!
Hard outdoor projects are my favourite videos, even if you fail it's just really nice to see that process. Like the big Island or even the never ending story video. I know Eric made that one but it was essentially about you.
The guess the grade videos are lit , super fun and has a nice interactive feeling from the perspective of the RUclips viewer. Probably my favourite type of video however, are super hard projects outside. They get me super psyched before I go hop on projects of my own outside.
I really enjoyed the long outdoor session repeating old problems. Just on your own crushing and trying to climb well and challenge yourself. Great stuff
I enjoy : - training videos (like campus moves, fingerboarding, workouts) - projects outside (climbing at your limit, really understanding each move because they are repeated multiple times) - setting videos and crazy moves (dynos, upside down double toe hooks, 360...) But your videos are great as it is, you've really improved along the years. Actually it would be really fun to see you do a collab with Magnus ! You're probably on the same level now.
I love seeing project and training videos! It’s awesome to see a climber at your level do problems that are way out of the average climbers range. And training videos are great to see what you do to get to that level as I and I’m sure many others would love to do :)
Your best and most entertaining video by far is the big island projecting. The most important thing is that you are really psyched on whatever you’re doing and let the passion show through
I love any indoor or outdoor stuff where you have a group of climbers (especially Nikken/Cordelia) and you’re all taking turns on your own boulders at your own skill levels
Indoor and outdoor projects are great to watch. I also like when you're climbing with other people and we can see all the different skill levels and just how difficult some problems are, that gives good perspective and is quite entertaining.
Your outdoors videos are by far my favourite. That doesn't go to say I don't enjoy the other content, though. Any video of yours that highlights boulders, gives me an insight on how you think about and approach climbs is fantastic, especially if we get to see you struggle at least to some degree. Makes you feel a little more human :>
I like your indoor bouldering with the technical analysis of what works and what doesn't and the slow-mo details -it really helps me learn and my climbing is improving because of it 🌟🙌🌟. I don't get to climb outdoors so I like indoor vids to help me 🤗
Love the routesetting videos, especially the hard boulders you set. Shows how to set routes and what to think about when you set these. Also love seeing you climb these afterwards, especially when you climb with Nikken
I know it's bad for the algorithm, but I really enjoy the variety in your channel! Most other climbing channels tend to be either 90% indoor or outdoor, and you really do a good job at keeping a solid mix of stuff!
My favorites are the projects... I’m a big outdoor fan, but indoor is totally rad too. Hearing you explain the beta and your thought process behind the movement is super helpful and interesting. But I’m a fan of all of it... keep doin what you’re doin and I’ll keep watching 🤙
I love watching you have to really try hard! So I’m a fan when I see you struggle with something for a while and then it clicks and you go to another gear of focus and power
I prefer indoor climbing content as that is what I am climbing on a regular basis and watching you guys set is really interesting and gives unique insight into the mind of a more advanced climber. Also while I am unsure of how this is done I believe you are able to set up a vote/poll for questions on RUclips. You could send it out to your subscribers and you would have a low quality but quick understanding of what people may want to watch. Anyway thank you for making content. It gives me something to watch with my coffee in the morning :)
What I haven´t seen in the comments I read, but what I would like to see is the whole route-setting thing. I love to see a nice boulder evolve from just an idea in your head to the first top after it´s finished. How you explain the single steps you´re gonna do, and what the idea behind it is... that also helps me personally to climb better, because I see boulders from a different point of view :)
Hey Emil, You are my favorite climber, so I very much enjoy your videos. If I had to pick the most enjoyable, it would be the super hard outdoor project videos. They always get me psyched on my projects and help motivate me to get out there and keep trying.
I'd like to see projecting and the microbeta that comes with it. Two more things: Any outside stuff is really nice to watch and on the other side the indoor routesetting is for me the most interesting. Thanks Emil, keep it up, man!
Hey Emil, I really just like seeing you guys try super hard on difficult boulders! That episode of you and Nikken comes to mind, v-hard outdoor crush sessions! also any video where you give advice is awesome, especially for tackling projects
I think a lot of us like the projects the best... really hard indoor and outdoor projects. However, that might not grab as many new viewers, which is why I think magnus mitbo tries so many different things to broaden his subscriber base. But I think most of the people here right now would really love to see indoor and outdoor projects
@Walter Lotte I mean yeah it's just a good business model. He realized that there are so many ciimbers watching youtube so once he got a lot of that fanbase he can get subscribers by collabing with people like Juji and Pete, and do other sports that he would be good at like Ninja warrior and arm wrestling. It's definitely good content because he is strong af
I love the outdoor stuff you do. I would love to see you break down the outdoor boulders more and get into the individual moves. If you could get good footage of your technique of each move id love to see that. Thanks for all the consistent videos coming out!
Hey Emil, I love the explanations and descriptions of the boulders you climb. It is extremely helpful for up and coming climbers like myself to get a feel for what you pros are thinking when you approach a boulder. :) Thanks!
Love the outdoor vids! Guess yhe grade is really interesting especially, and then just seeing you try hard on both indoor and outdoor projects is great, but outside definitely makes for better images IMO
I like the route setting videos and almost anything indoors. My favorite is probably trying a tough project and working through the moves and figuring the beta out. Those are fun videos.
I really enjoyed the slow-mo with the commentary in the background of the project. The outdoor stuff is always fun. The bro V bro would be fun haha, you should try that again.
I like it when you break down your projecting process and beta videos indoor and outdoor. Limit bouldering is inspiring but it could be cool to see breakdown of easier climbs and explanations of beta and technique for those. To be really honest, I'm not a fan of the guess the grade videos but if you're seeing positive response to it and lots of views keep it up! I like how you are pretty straight to the point with whatever it is you're doing, so whatever you do I'm sure it'll be great!
Lots of comments already about what I’d like to see but for sure just trying really hard and doing lots of hard stuff!!!! But I think to get us all to really understand the difficulty Especially outside would be to show close ups on more of the hands and how your hand holds it. Or if a foot is suuuuper bad same thing
Watching you climb hard is great, especially when you are on the edge of your skill level. My favorite video was when you did the solo road trip. It was just so much fun to watch you roll, struggle, send, and roll some more. I don't know why, but I felt that one more. The tips/training/explaining boulders is also high quality. I think that when you include other climbers, it helps though. You seem more comfortable having conversation with other people around you. And don't be afraid to keep in the fails in editing. Not just on the wall, everywhere else also. It's fun seeing bits of the human side. The camera person (if she wants be in) is more fun when she talks, also. I imagine she wasn't saying much today, just looking at you thinking "What did you eat fro breakfast today?" Cause you were the friggin mailman today. Sending everything!
Like all your videos but I kinda love the ones when you're setting problems and explaining the process. I also love when your are battling against your limits.
I've read that the outdoor vids don't get the most views, but those stories are always so much more inspiring. Also where my goals lie, so that explains why.
Honestly super enjoy all of your stuff! cool to see the progression in production of videos. I'd enjoy seeing some more setting stuff, maybe about the thought process that goes into it. Keep it up man!
To be honest I like watching you project on super hard shit indoor and outdoor ( outdoor the most for sure, there isn't enough good outdoor content on youtube like there is for indoor) That kinda stuff inspires me the most. Also seeing you send a rig on some sport climbing multi-pitch or something would be super cool to see you out of your wheelhouse!
Explaining the moves is definitely my favourite, I also prefer watching indoor because it’s easier for me to see the level of complexity your putting into your moves
I definitely enjoy the videos of hard projects indoors or outdoors but especially when you go in to detail about the moves and micro beta. Obviously any group videos is just better I always say the more the merrier
I simply like variety. I love indoor / outdoor / talk-through / games / comps / projects / technique tips. I also like "climber tries X" videos like Magnus does. And I also like parcour. I like literally ALL video types around these topics. I would also watch a physio talk me through sports theory and how and when to train tendons or whatever. The mix on your channel is great. You are doing great. Thanks! =] P.S.: Maybe try parcours?^^
Bro every video that you upload is awesome, I've learned so much from you and the EKB crew, it's been a year since I started climbing but before this covid shit I was crushing hard V7's and soft V8's thanks to all the inspiration. I can't wait for my local gym to re-open just so I can put to test all the training that I've been doing in my homewall 💪
i just wanna see you (and people as strong as you) climb hard near their limit
I personally enjoy "hard" climbing both in & outdoor. But, I'd also appreciate anything related to training / diet approaches. Like weekly routines or advice for different strength climbers :).
I love the projects, indoors and outdoors! Especially the portin of the vid where you explain the moves and difficulties.
Yesss this is also my favorite. I also like seeing the holds close up sometimes just to see how difficult it is
This!
Yep agreed, indoor and outdoor projects where you learn something and we can learn from your experience
Yes i think the small details you provide like drilling down with your foot and hand positioning is super helpful, anything that can help us climb better...
...but make sure you're psyched making them. If you're not psyched about the content think we wont be either
I feel like I’m in the minority, but I really enjoy watching outdoor projects. I love the process of projecting and seeing other people’s process.
I find it difficult to understand the difficulty of outdoor climbs, and enjoy watching indoor more as it's a little clearer how those holds feel as some I have felt. versus outdoors all being condition based and impossible to tell.
I like outdoor climbing. Specially lead but boulder is very good also.
I also enjoy outdoor videos, but it's harder to understand outdoor climbs on footage, still love watching them

My favourite tend to be about your projects, particularly outdoor projects, but I enjoy all your content.
Damn today is a great day for youtube climbing content
Right?
Stories about projecting indoor or outdoor are the best. Talking about the moves, getting to the project, setting the boulder, the history of the problem is all great stuff.
I really like it when Cordelia climbs in your videos! #teamcordi

Indoor, outdoor doesn't matter too much. I like that you take the time to explain the boulders and the different moves.
Hard outdoor bouldering is my favorite, especially when you bring friends like Nikken or Cordelia
Thanks!

I really enjoy watching you guys set and talk through your ideas, along with anything where you slow down and explain why something is difficult or tricky.
I love watching project videos where you are working on a boulder or in the same area as Nikken, Felix, Cordelia, etc. Crew videos are the best.
routesetting and the thinking process behind it is always amazing to watch! also seeing you climb at your limit (or other strong guys) is a big inspiration/motivation for my own climbing. Keep up the good work!

Good throw down episode!
You and Eric made me realize how awesome indoor climbing videos can be, and you've really been killing it on your own. I really enjoyed the long outdoor session repeating old problems. Just on your own crushing and trying to climb well and challenge yourself. Great stuff
I think my favorite videos are the setting ones or a sport climbing project. But honestly all your videos are amazing.
Love watching projects for you, indoor and outdoor. Anything where you are setting and climbing with duos or more is great too!
I enjoy :
- training videos (like campus moves, fingerboarding, workouts)
- projects outside (climbing at your limit, really understanding each move because they are repeated multiple times)

I love seeing project and training videos! It’s awesome to see a climber at your level do problems that are way out of the average climbers range. And training videos are great to see what you do to get to that level as I and I’m sure many others would love to do :)
Your best and most entertaining video by far is the big island projecting. The most important thing is that you are really psyched on whatever you’re doing and let the passion show through
Honestly hard stuff outdoors is really exciting in my opinion. I'd like to see you do some more V13+ stuff outside, with Nikken too!!

It's fun seeing you climb with your friends. I also enjoy outdoor climbs!

i enjoy seeing some of your trips to the outdoor swedish bouldering with you and your friends!

just continue to be yourself , really appreciate your approach to life in general and of course your way of climbing 👌🏻
Awesome video. Thanks 🙏 for sharing. I like the outdoor stuff the most. I also like the videos that explain the difficulties the climb.
Definitely love the project vids the most!
I like the variety you have in your videos, keep it up you’re crushing it !
outdoor projects and harrrrd bouldering!!! definitely hypes up my psyche hehe
Keep it up man!
i loveee route setting videos and also outdoor projecting, id love to see you send the big island
Explaining the moves is definitely my favourite, I also prefer watching indoor because it’s easier for me to see the level of complexity your putting into your moves
everything is good as long as we get you chatting, like the informality as it reflections interactions in a climbing session
I’d love to hear you’re thought process on training.
I enjoy all your videos Emil but mostly outdoor project with detailed beta breakdowns. Keep it up man! 💪🏼😄
I love to watch hard outdoor sends and when you go on trips. Also routesetting stuff!
Pushing the limits at outdoor boulder videos my favorite!
Def your outdoor vids, they're a notch above the rest!
I really love your projecting and setting videos.
Training tips both on and off the wall. Also love see you outdoors for a chance it's inspirational.
I definitely enjoy the videos of hard projects indoors or outdoors but especially when you go in to detail about the moves and micro beta. Obviously any group videos is just better I always say the more the merrier
I love your outdoorprojekts and the guess the grade thing.
Thanks! =]
P.S.: Maybe try parcours?^^
Bro every video that you upload is awesome, I've learned so much from you and the EKB crew, it's been a year since I started climbing but before this covid shit I was crushing hard V7's and soft V8's thanks to all the inspiration. I can't wait for my local gym to re-open just so I can put to test all the training that I've been doing in my homewall 💪
