The scene at the dinner table where Leonardo’s hand had blood on it was because he hit his hand so hard with the prop in his hand that he broke the skin. It was all done in one take. Tarantino dropped his jaw, coming away from the lens of the camera watching Leo during it. He didn’t know whether to yell cut or keep going. He did the right thing.

The sheriff is law enforcement for the town (although today sheriffs and their deputies are for a county), that is, they're town-level local, whereas the (U.S.) marshal is at the federal level and is law enforcement for a territory / nation, which may comprise many towns. Having him get the sheriff first, allows him to kill the sheriff, by himself to ensure he gets the bounty, and do so relatively quick, easy and the sheriff is off his guard. Had he called for the marshal first, then he might not get his bounty as the marshal may involve himself in getting the sheriff. This way, sheriff first, he can kill the sheriff, get the bounty for himself only, and THEN get the marshal for payment.

OMG I LOVE TRUE ROMANCE A NOT WELL KNOW FILM BY QT my favorite writter. ! Also if you havent seen Killing Zoe its another unknown ( for the most part) by him. Saw it years ago back when there where viseo rental stores. I lived a blick away from a vidoe city they knew me well in there and knew i liked QT movies before ge was really known, and told me about Killing Zoe and said between the 4 Video cities in my town they had 1 copy to share due to it was unknown, as QT was then. So they got on the list for their turn to have it at their store and called me the day they got it, and i Ran to pick it up. As always a diffrent movie . Violent but so well written and on the edge of your seat never knowing whats next that Brilliant writting as always. So watch it if you havent.
I own all his movies however getting my habds on that one i havent been able to do. But True Romance i did get a copy of that from that V city, a watched copy when they would sell the older movies that sliw down in rental request, so they would sell extra copies.
