    Try using a smaller hook and a 1 oz sinker. I usually use a size 1 treble hook for sheepshead and my hook rate is way better than a j hook. And looks good presentation wise with the crab

    • @VISUAL-LY
      @VISUAL-LY  8 месяцев назад

      Hmmmmm treble hook. Never even thought to use that… is it even legal? lol
      Totally agree with the 1oz sinkers. I’m usually 1oz or 3/4oz

    Nice video I love the way the boneyard look. take you a small tool like a small hammer and chum the water with the barnacles if you are allowed to do so. I never been sheepshead fishing before, but from all the RUclips videos I have seen they said go when it's high tide, the bite is much better when the water is going out. Give that a try next time. As soon as I get a saltwater boat I will give you a shoutout , and maybe I can fish it with you. Tight Lines

    • @VISUAL-LY
      @VISUAL-LY  8 месяцев назад

      I didn't look into the regulations in GA as far as chumming with the barnacles so didn't want to risk it. Might have to try that next time if allowed. But sounds good about the boat, let me know!🤙

    Those spots are perfect for kayaks, really nice area for sheepshead. Concrete pilings for days. Nice day for some exploring with some keepers! btw, I know you were joking but getting stuck under there with tides rising sounds like a nightmare lol

    • @VISUAL-LY
      @VISUAL-LY  8 месяцев назад

      Such a cool area! I know it has to hold big ones, maybe during the colder months. We’ll be back! But bro; not only rising tide we had to worry about. But imagine if a huge boat came but that put out huge wake. We’d be under there with our heads banging on the top against the concrete🤣
