Hey, you should try that lagoon where the creek flows under that bridge. Very late in the afternoon near dark can pitch a top water like a spook and the snook will come up and blast it. The water is pretty shallow so you can just cast anywhere and be assured that fish will be underneath it and see the lure. Nice video I live a few miles from the Jupiter Inlet and this is a great place to hang out with your fishing rod.
"The ole pier Rod right here. Barely fits in the car. Like a couple more inches…. It wouldn’t get to come. I’m thankful she’s coming. That’s my lucky Rod." This really got a belly laugh outta me.. Sorry, Brant... couldn't help it.
The Snook are there. But this time of year I remember them being most active at night. During the day they would stack up like logs under the big rocks near the Ocean end of the Jetty but they rarely bite. Night time can be a different story. I used to live there and fished that inlet for years. But it was quite a few years ago and things may have changed.
Thanks for this! I'll be there next month! I can never find live shrimp when I go, so hopefully they will be available. There is also a pier not too far from where you were that is pretty productive!
The "T" pier ☺️ I know the name but we'll keep it to those who know already. And yeah that pier has produced some pelagic species as well as killer inshore fish.
We love Jupiter, some really fun fishing. Did you get a chance to go to Jupiter donuts? If you didn’t , next time do yourself a favor and hit them up . We live in Eustis and talk about taking the drive just to go get some. lol Fun video
I've been out the past 4 afternoons back in the river the mullet have been stacked up with all the wind and front that came through, caught tons of good size jacks and lost 2 snook probably over slot size yesterday.
While you are on that side of Florida, try fishing on Dania pier, you'll catch really nice mangroves and tons of different species. The last time I was there, I caught really nice sizes and also I caught yellowtail jack and Schoolmaster was over 12 in, and Mangrove it was 15 in, I promise you you're not going to be disappointed.
I'd love to take you to my spot by Ponce Inlet in New Smyrna. I fish a private dock over night and the snook and reds are abundant. My PB red is 48in. When the colder weather comes in the sheepshead are slabs as well.
Seeing the fish is a real extra, thats the cool part as anticipation is our fisherman sweetspot. Do remember school of big bluefish chasing through a french river with mullets jumping all around. My lure was not even touched for a few hours as they run up and down upstream like mad. A little silver spoon gave me a catch eventually yet thats not important, seeing the fish was the best. That clear water and those shrimps tossed out as candy is a treat.
Looks like your planning on fishing Jupiter. I fish there a lot. Water has been muddy but that has cleared up mostly now, Wind has been an issue. Snook, Reds, and Trout are all over the place there. Parrot Fish fight like the dickens.
Brant...awhile back you mentioned a hook you like for sheepshead...I think you said eagle claw but I can not find it again...can you help get me this info...thank you! Tight lines!
As a side note (nothing to do with the fishing aspect of the video), I stayed at that Embassy Suites hotel for 5 weeks on an extended business trip. I really liked it. And due to some glitch, I was never charged for any of my pay per view movies I watched. I’ll comment on the main content of the video later.
You need to put my granola in your chicken salad...you can buy it at evermann's ....fresh market.....i think apple market might have it at well ...its called veronica's health crunch
So what's the deal w/ your Rod you packed. I'm guessing it's a one piece blank..... how long & who sells them if I may ask/. Heck, if it's not already in the, "More Section" above then please drop the Rod/Reel combo.... name/model if you have time & I have looked in the section but didn't see it. I wanna be like "Brant" when I grow up.....help us all be like Brant? peace
Stop fishing for snook with your bass gear. You’re going to seriously be disappointed when you finally connect with a 30+ inch fish. No way you’re going to get him in when a 20 inch snook is dogging your gear.
Who got it better than you folks! Your beautiful wife made chicken salad too, It`s better than having an ugly wife making you chicken sandwiches Dang! I can tell you folks are still newlyweds she making sandwiches, You wait it`ll change! Ha! Ha! Love those GoPro videos, Great action, Thanks!

I like how you drop a go pro in the middle of your fishing video.. you mix things up makes it more fun to watch!

Great video. Thank you. I was down near there last year. I wanted to try that area but my brother was in too poor health to go there.

As Always a Great time video Fishing. Can't wait for a trip from you to Texas to do a meet and greet with you! Keep up the Great Work.
Have to agree with the comment. When you dropped the go pro into water, you had me hooked! 🎣
Good video as always. Looks like fun. Trying to book a trip for the beginning of the year to fish the ocean/Florida.

I always look forward to your fishing adventures.....I need to eat more fish.

Eagle 084 #4
Another channel I occasionally watch tried using tiny bits of Sargassum on a hook, and pulled in Parrotfish after Parrotfish.
Love it when you fish my old haunts there in Jupiter.
Jupiter and San Sabastian inlet has the best fishing in The State Of Florida !
Jupiter FL dubois park.
Grew up there,That's the inlet I learned to fish in
I am from California Florida was the best place I've ever fished at😊
I live in Jupiter, If i see you in the Morning I will tell you where and when to fish the area.
I guess you didn't see the sign that says stay off rocks. Lol @6:39

That's my back yard! Believe it or not, that water is extremely dirty for the area. 50-100 foot vis isn't uncommon!
You need to put my granola in your chicken salad...you can buy it at evermann's ....fresh market.....i think apple market might have it at well ...its called veronica's health crunch
I will try that. I love your granola. ❤
@bacongreasegoddesstv thank you 😊 we use the original flavor for the chicken salad...we do have a total of 5 flavors
Jupiter, home to Deer Meat For Dinner ❤
Never caught a parrot fish? Now i feel like a catch and cook is in order. Theyre supposed to be good.
