Did you ever refinish the barbell? Everyone complains about the clear coat but aint nobody making a DIY repair video!

By the way I use rogue Axl collars for specialty bars awesome for Axls farmers etc... Super tight grip

@@ThreeStormFitness they may seem a bit overpriced... But they are made of a much higher quality plastic than lockjaws etc... Much thicker and harder plastic...

@@ThreeStormFitnessI just ordered the elite yoke lol I've decided I want to upgrade my rml 390f to a monster rack since I want some of the attachments that are only made for the monster... Like the lat pulldown attachment....

Marty's dropping dollars! That's great man--let me know how you like it all, and what attachments you wind up with

Just got this in... Haven't used it yet but I'm super impressed. The padding is night and day compared to the rogue one I sold. Also the bar itself is a little lighter ans much easier to get into rack etc.

That's excellent man. I'm glad to hear you dig it so far. Definitely at the top of my favorite equipment list

I've got the rogue version... Only rogue product that I wasn't super impressed by. The elite definitely has better padding.
I wish there was a safety squat bar... That let you squat normally... I use the ssb when my elbows are bothering me. Not to make some movement between the front and high bar back squat
By the way I'm Suprised you havent labeled the rack holes. I spent so much time using decals... Spray paint with stencils... Etc. And just using a white oil based sharpie worked the besy bar far.
The rogue powder coat makes for a great writing surface. The lack of hole numbers was the only thing I couldn't stand about the monster lite rack...
Also if screw up while writing just use a black sharpie and then later write over it again. Has held up well and actually doesn't look like a dyi solution...

Hey Marty, what's up man? Yeh, I heard a lot of disappointment from the rogue reviews... Didn't want to throw them under the bus without trying it myself first, but you seem to share a common sentiment with many others
I hear ya on the the SSB normal squat form... Not sure how that would be possible though. You'll be a rich man if you figure it out (please send me one to review).
My high bar squatting leaves a lot to be desired, so I use this bar to help address those weaknesses (the whole "when life gives you lemons" thing)
Actually, I do have all the holes labeled. Incremental numbers on one side and inches on the other. They're written in a dark red grease pen, so it's very hard to see unless you're standing in front of it.
Why they don't label them in the factory, I have no idea.
As always, thanks for chiming in, dude!

Well to clarify... I wouldn't say the rogue ssb is bad just not a stellar product like everything else I got from them... I think the rogue echo bike, adjustable bench 2.0 and the rml are all top notch. Just didn't wow me like those products.
The bench is my favorite though. B. Ohio power bar is nice about the same as tx power bar but a little cheaper and better service from rogue.
I have to products that are well made and designed but I don't really use much...just got too many other things... The rack mounted wrist roller is nice but I don't use it much, prefer fat bar curls and timed holds, and the rack mounted leg roller...well made etc but I just prefer regular lunges same feel but easier to balance.
Other stuff like the multigrip chin bar are great as well. I got the cerakote chin bar but mostly it's for hanging stuff of and for an an support for rack stability.
I added an extra crossbeam in the back of my rml 390f... So it's no longer a walk through design. I don't want to bolt and it just makes the rack more stable and more square... I was suprised the legs without the beam splayed in a bit... So that the rack wasn't perfectly square.
    Really helps with overall stability..
I don't recall seeing any videos from you regarding chains. Just ordered from titan. It's the only thing I'm comfortable ordering from them. Got the ez loaders from elitefts for deadlift and squat and bench... As well as the collar with the thing for carabiner. I didnt want to deal with... The loading chain etc.

Power Lift safety squat bar looks promising to me.

Titan SSB V2 is just as good.

If that's the case, I kinda screwed myself at twice the price. No regrets though.
I'd love to get a hold of a Titan bar sometime and do a comparison. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks!
