@@sayurikoshima_bahiatourguide , first I thought you were Brazilian because you look to be mixed (and also by your last name), what is more common in Brazil. I am Brazilan, too, and I can normally identify our compatriots speaking English and other languages, but I was not so sure in your case while you were speaking. Even Brazilian names that a tour guide could pronounce like in Portuguese you were able to pronounce as a person of English language would do. Congratulations! I was in Salvador a few times and I have noticed that more immigrants have chosen the city in the last decades. It was very funny to meet a German family living there, speaking with the local accent and even "oxente"...😄 So, I thought you could be a "gringa", too.

This is awesome my husband and I watched this. We will be visiting in February. Are you able to provide the lady’s information so she can give us a personal tour with pay of course. I am a former educator of Africas story outside of the states. I learned the slaves bought here were able to keep their origins. This is extra ordinary. I am elated to learn nonstop history & our story.😊

I'm not into seafood so I usually order the plantain moqueca. It's so good. My father used to make moqueca at home.
