I waited 31 years for this fish

Well folks it finally happend. I have been trying to catch a salmon all my life from the shore, and this year I finally did. I spent a lot of time out around Charlotte pier in late September, saw plenty of fish, but it took some work to get results!

That's amazing man! Been trying the past 6 years myself near Toronto on the mouth of the river when they come up and nothing. Happy for you and cool you got to experience it with your dad!

Thanks man! yeah it was quite a rush. We have been trying for the past three years out on that pier, that was the first salmon, and we've only had a few other trout and a Walleye in that time that were of any size. But this fish was definitely worth the wait.
