Frostbite along Frost Blast is pretty good early game. Enemies die with one freeze and you don't have to stick with tatics/survival, since Frostbite is a colorless mutation. Just pick both and play safe until you manage to find the gear you really want.
Yeah, I'll just ice bow or frost blast and keep running. Everything dies in a survival build. Hit and move on. Plus it keeps elites and bosses controlled. Negates two mechanics entirely almost. Less rolling and what's parry?
So there're little caveats about Frostbite First, it's purpose. Obviously it's supposed to synergize with slowdown, but not every type of slowdown. Wide area of application sources of slow, like the Survival affix _are_ going to piss off enemies and not deal damage, be cause the damage per tick of Frostbite is about 4 times lower than it's advertized number (Gotta love Dead Cells for being quirky and display DPS instead of base damage). Which is a blessing and a curse, after all, grouped enemies can be easier to kill, unless you get very unlucky and they jump the hell out of you Second, now that we know that we must prioritize long lasting frostbite applicators, we need to figure out when it actually performs best. Here I see 2 main ways of running Frostbite: 1) Ice spamming, undisputed king of Crowd Control that is [Insert a survival item that has the word "Ice" in it], where you rely on mostly on Freeze effects quintupling your Frostbite damage. At that point you might as well be running a full DoT build, with No Mercy doing what it does best and making the game look easy because enemies begin getting vaporized at mere sight of you. The only difference between other DoT builds being that of nature of Slowdown and Freeze effects preventing enemies from hurting you, rather than spreading the effects or detonating the "over time" part of DoTs. But I don't like how it looks on bosses because of their CC immunity buildup 2) Simply pair it with Melee and any Brutality scaling weapon that can proc it. I kid you not, Melee Frostbite combo is THE combo that carries most of my brutality runs because Melee is one of the most ridiculous mutations in this whole damn game. I don't even look at affixes most of the time, because my damage output just never drops off even with starter weapons. It's worth pointing out that bosses don't seem to adapt to Slowdown as quick as to other CC, if at all, so coupled with a fast hitting weapon you could be creating attack windows out of thin air In Short: Frostbite underrated, never look at the numbers alone in a vacuum
one of personal favorite builds is frostbite + ice bow + hokuto’s bow. there’s so many ways for build off of that base, like barbed tips, networking, acrobatipack, and a whole bunch of skills
Frostbite is my dog, it's part of my favourite playstyle, and i want u to try it, por favor. Mutations are armadillopack, frostbite and no mercy(switch no mercy to either crows feet or melee before boss fights) Weapons are ice shield in backpack, frostblast and nutcracker with the "slow down nearby enemies" affix, really nice if you can get 175% dmg to frozen enemies alongside it(try to get slow-down/freeze nearby enemies affix in as many things as possible tbh.) Along with Ice nade and stun nade. It literally trivialises the game, it feels like you're playing on easy mode.
Frostbite is the number one mutation I take when I go survival to sewers as it gets rid of bats without having my slow heavy hitter weapons on something that can die from a little bit of damage
I was able to power through Boss Cells 2-5 by rolling into slow and frostbite. Ice shards that either freezes or slows enemy's nearby when they die is the key, its so strong!
I love Frostbite. I would use ice bow or frost blast though, Ice shards only slow with one hit as opposed to freeze. So it only has one stack instead of max stacks.
I play more Tac than Brute, so I usually can't get work out of frostbite unless I pair it with the caltrops to stack the slow/DoT. I used it a lot early days, might have to give it another try
I think the problem with frostbite is this isn’t a frostbite build (it’s fault not yours) This doesn’t make me want to make a build around frostbite, this makes me want to add frostbite next time I’m using scissors
Veedotme how can i learn build i cannot find in the internet i wanna learn all builds is there site or something to shearch build from worst to best builds
In 2bc I just take frost blast, and no matter what level the frost blast is, it's great! I don't think it's amazing in 5bc Edit: it's also great with melee and rapier, or panchucu

I take that all the time, a level one frost bite holds up well works until caverns, and even then, it's not that bad
great flint showcase Vee! keep up the good work!

“Yo Guys this Is a flint showcase right?” (Gets absolutely obliterated 3 nanoseconds later)
great scissors showcase Vee!

That's what I've been doing since I unlocked hokuto's bow recently. Definitely the #1 DOT enabler.
13:00 I know for a fact that with Panchaku it's quick enough to freeze-lock Conjunc.
As someone who used this strat many times
Yes The Panchaku with "Melee" is Fast enough to Freeze enemies and bosses
@Mr.Brothybear iirc only Dracula FF, HotK, and Giant are immune too.
@@hamzamotara4304 I Noticed that during the Boss Rush
Hey Veedotme! As a new player I love your overexplained bosses series, and would love to see one for REDACTED :)
Frostbite is my dog, it's part of my favourite playstyle, and i want u to try it, por favor.

One of the best flint showcase runs in a while. Keep up the good work!

I've actually really been wondering this, since I like it with Melee builds.
Also I'm realizing now that you just posted this XD
melee + frostbite + panchaku is one of my all time favorite combos lol
@jostauber8620 tell me about it...
Until I met HotK. I think he is immune to freeze.
Great Taunt showcase Vee. Now I know to never pick it up and never press it. Really useful video!

Panchaku, frostbite, no mercy is really good.
bro always comin in with the krazy builds 😂

love this taunt showcase run
Yes, this mutation helped me a lot for the first time i beat the final boss
I dual bind Ice Shard and Seismic Strike.
My Opinion on Frostbite: *it Good*
My Opinion on the Video showcasing frostbite: *It's Also good*
Frost bit is one of my favourite actually
and I have a question
is there something about the end is near for mobile?
Can you do a frostbite showcase next?
Its decent with melee panchaku but to be fair a utility mutation would be better.
I still have the old version where frostbite is still a survival mutation and it is broken
5 stacks of slow (I think I'm not playing right now to check) turns into freeze so wouldn't that 46 DPS technically be 230 DPS?
Put frost bite along with slow meele mutation then you're build will be golden otherwise frost bite is really excellent with cold weapons
I think the problem with frostbite is this isn’t a frostbite build (it’s fault not yours)
This doesn’t make me want to make a build around frostbite, this makes me want to add frostbite next time I’m using scissors

Scissors are my fav weapon easy.
Frostbite+melee

Watched too fast, thought it was a different run for some reason. I'm sure I didn't see "spoiler boss", right?
ma-chet-tee not ma-chet
I'm gonna start pronouncing it chet now
