Its hard to find a well seasoned good natured man like Jerry, i would let him do whatever he wanted to do on whatever equipment he chooses, the man probably doesn't even have to work.
He's probably forgot more about running a bulldozer than most people ever know.
Jerry doesn't have to work he just does to have something to do. Help a few companies out that need help but not full time help.

Just amazing. From an Engineering viewpoint, with all other things equal (power, weight, float pressure, etc.) to the 850J, I would wager that Case's "C Channel Blade Frame" is what gives it an edge ... the CG is lower so can do those fully loaded blades being able to be so easily redirected. But the most amazing thing of all is watching you and Jerry, blade to blade, doing your Earth Moving Acrobatics !!! WOW what a Team !
I'm impressed with the curvature of the blade rolling it forward. I have to assume it makes it easier on the machine and the operator and replacement of the windows seems to increase the situational awareness for the operator!

Jerry adds to the sophistication.
Kleeman adds some fun and sometimes unusual commentary.
You have the ability to make people's qualities shine and the knowledge of operating a small business, maintaining it and sharing what you know and think.

I’ve had the pleasure to visit with Jerry for a good while. The man is as humble and easy to talk with as an old friend. It truly seems he’s never met a stranger. And yes folks I did my best to talk him into letting Mike put a camera in the cab with him. 🤞
That’s awesome. I hope he lets Mike put one in there. He might like it. Be sorta like having an imaginary friend to talk to🤣🤣

I just have to love Jerry. His attitude and skill sets are amazing. I am thinking that both Case machines will end up in a permanent slot in the DP equipment lineup. They will add so much in terms of versatility, translation productivity.

I never heard Jerry's work history, but to hear you DP talk about him and to just watch him in your video, it doesn't take much to realize he has many hours/years of working in the dirt. Jerry can almost make those bulldozers talk, a joy to watch.

You're not alone, Mike...i could watch Jerry push dirt all day too. He is truly at one with whatever machine he operates, and his competence is obvious for all to see. Operators like Jerry are few and far between, and their work is always a pleasure to behold. 😊👍

This case looks like it operates rather well and is somewhat sensuous with the curved lines mitigating collection of debris, rain, snow and ice!
It actually seems like a keeper especially if you plan on the business to grow some more especially if Gunnar's going to get involved later on
The only thing I can tell that's missing are three or four DP stickers!

If Jerry says he'll keep it, that's earth shattering! Keep in mind the 850J is 20 year old tech. Birds of a different feather but both great pieces
850J may be 20 year tech as you say but both Jerry and DP have both said the 850B will out push the J for whatever reason. That said watching the dirt curl off the 1650 and the 850J blades I have to wonder if the tilt of the blade needs to be tweaked slightly to make the J work a little bit better especially after installing the the ripper on the machine
The B will push straight better than the J but I doubt it will push more. The wider pads transformed J a lot. I’ll defer to the operator’s perspective. Hey, that Case is one nice piece!

Very nice to see Jerry use the 1650. I love watching dozers push but I am leaning to the 850J because I am a veteran of the US Army and I love the green. Regardless I think Dirt Perfect sticker would be welcomed on the Case 1650. Thanks again!

First thoughts on the 1650 are good so far, it's no lightweight that's for sure. It has a different power curve that I can't describe, no over revving as you raise and lower the blade in dirt like it reads your mind ....lol. Keep up the good work Mike.
Just great watching 2 people that can get the blades as close together as you 2 do and continue to roll large amounts of dirt/mud.... I think Jerry really likes it. Hopefully you can get a great deal on it. 🤔😃💥

That Case dozer seems to be a winner. I really like the idea of adding power to turn rather than taking power away. seems like that would help it push more consistently Looking forward to seeing more of the 1650M..

Every time I see the DL550 in action the machine shines with versatility and power. It really is a compact powerhouse and because of that very usefull in your field of work, at least that is what I think and see.
The new 1650 looks very nice, but you got to make the hours to show what she has got, so far Jerry seems happy with it. First impression is always important.

I can see why both you and Farmer Chris are very successful business men. It’s your attention to detail! Imagine keeping track of the crop yield in a particular part of a field. In my younger years one of my business principles was, ”if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it”. Keep up the good work. ArtM. 👍👍👍👍👍🇨🇦
Its actually pretty easy these days with the tech on the combine it gives you a print out of the yields as you are going and at the end of the field. Same with the planter you can see if the ground is hard or soft where you are planting. It is pretty cool tech this days.

Well sir, put the CASE with the 850J and you have yourself one lot of push power, the added bonus is the CASE not only can push, but it has the capability of finish work as well. Jerry sure wouldn’t turn it down from the sounds of things, nice looking dozer also, thanks for the update sir.

At this rate, Mike is going to have all new demo equipment and eventually all the older stuff will be off to an old home. Or, keep the old so that there is less equipment moving around and prepositioning will be a lot easier. The only issue will the storage building is going to have to be a lot bigger! Might as well make the entire compound an enclosed storage area!
Maybe the thick black smoke occasionally would be a nice touch.

Not sure what the size comparison is between the 2 but it looks like the J is alittle bigger but the Case looks likes its keeping up just fine. That case looks beefy and stout with a low level of gravity definitely a nice dozer.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. New guy seemed to be working ok but didn’t quite have the rhythm you had with Arron. Apparently wasn’t confident enough to ride the pipe lifter back to the truck 😂. New case dozer seems nice, not exactly sure where it would fit into the fleet considering it’s likely a size able investment. I could possibly see the DL-550 replacing the skid steer and C4G. Not sure about your attachment to the C4G. We all know the J isn’t going anywhere and the only way you would drop the B from the fleet is if you gave it to Jerry for time served. So I’m guessing as nice as the new Case is unless they are willing to forget where they dropped it off it’s likely just a visitor. 😊 Wishing you and your family the best.

For someone who is supposed to love the old 850 Jerry can't wait to get into the newer machines even when the old 850 is sitting there looking like nobody wants her, kinda like the girl who's left sitting at the side of the dancefloor when the slow music starts playing😂🎉and all the guys are fighting over the new girl😂

Go Jerry - it must be a beauty if you suggest purchase of the new dozer. Dirt Perfect those pipes must be a real effort to lay but when it is done it is time to have fun on the new Case.
I was with u on hearing the case when Jerry was using the decel pedal it just sounded wrong. What a difference when he changed to not using it. U can tell just listening to it that it is the way it was meant to be run. I drove a newer Cat once that i would call a hybrid, you could drive it with or without decel. It took a little bit to get used to. It is interesting how every piece of equipment is slightly different

I will just say this, The Case 1650m and the Minotaur can push dirt, and the 850J is no slouch, BUT I would still pick the 850B out of the four of them! 👍👍
