Fall?
When the word gets out that this is how you run business, people will prefer you over the lowest bidder. Thats how my BIL has so many wealthy customers with his flooring laying business. People dont want to find out you charge extra to level their subfloor before you can lay parquet after you ripped out the old carpet. When they know, this guy may not be the cheapest, but when my subfloor is bad, he takes that risk for the price he's asking even if it costs him money, people are glad to accept a higher bid if its fixed.
Pond building is very similar, you dont want financial surprises after the contractor stripped the topsoil and youre already committed !

Growing up in Southern IL there were farm ponds everywhere, I thought you just built a dam and instant pond. I had no idea of the science involved in construction of a pond or lake. Never the less I truly enjoy watching you and the crew scratch one out.
PS, no animals were harmed in the production of this video, on purpose that is.
Am glad the owner agreed to a change of location, will be a lot better place especially the view from the house. Poor Aaron, I take it he's staying well away from the Everglades,where they have those 30' pythons hanging around and causing mayhem. 3 dosers on one job, your spoiling us. 👍

One of the toughest jobs, to me anyway, is to try and estimate a job like your on with all the unknowns, then not really getting a true lay of the land until it gets cleared, lot of unforeseen and the you might as well as situations. To try and build a pond at the top of a hill. MBHS said yes I will. With a digger two dozers and a vibrating roller. We were almost ready to film it and show you.final check already to hit the road. OK MBHS let’s rock & roll - and I did. All the best, 👍🐝🌞

You guys are just a blast to watch.
This is what sets you apart from other contractors. You want it the best you can make for yourself even though you don't live there. So you might lose a little $$ but in the long run doing a better job giving someone more then they wanted or a better view means a lot to them and they pass the good word on to others. You can't also see where something would be best till you have a clean slate to work with.

Snakes a mighty! Back here, we won't build a pond without a water supply. I find it interesting you are building ponds on top of a hill dependent upon rain water for supply. My small pond gets about 5 gallon an hour from a spring, just up the hill that runs the same 24-7-365 drought or no drought. Great video! Thanks Mike and Aaron! Lee

Mike, A word to the wise as we age our muscle memory and our step and gate start to become less and less. Stay in shape start doing fall prevention. I have been down that road and have paid a price for not taking care of myself.
