    I liked the sm57 by far. Maybe because I use it for my sax recording. Thanks for the video

      Yeah I prefer the 57 on tenor and it's definitely the go to. The most "worth it" upgrade would be an MD421.

    Definitely a big difference between alto and tenor. The AT was my favorite for alto. I wonder how different the AT2035 would be. Hmmm

      The 2035 has a flatter low end and more of a presence boost around 12khz. Probably sounds better. I do have a 3035 I could test out

    Thank you. My "favorite was the Rode M5 and the Shure. I play with a Shure WB but ultimately I would prefer a microphone in front of me

    That small Rode is kind of punchy.

      Agreed. I find it too bright for jazz but it would be ok in a pop mix
