If not for Sinner, Zverev would easily be the most improved player year on year. This guy is finding his levels this season and competing toe to toe with Sinner and Alcaraz. He's in his physical prime and his game has shown remarkable all round growth. Made the RG finals this year, and you expect him to be competing for all the slams in 2025. Zverev's primary challenge lies in his mentality during tight, high-pressure matches in Grand Slams against top-tier opponents. While he possesses the skill and game to compete at the highest level, he often falters at critical moments, struggling to close out matches.

What a performance by Zverev! Absolutely amazing! With that being said, Sinner will destroy Zverev though, because currently, Sinner is playing at a level that even surpasses 2008 Nadal at RG. Still, a memorable win for Zverev today!
Super impressed with Zverev coming into the net on what looked like 3-4 consecutive plays even though the first two didnt work. He's listening and being more aggressive... even got that slice forehand winner
Merci
Why did Alcaraz play that ball like that at 2:39 ? He had that whole side of the court op and just needed to play it down the line. it should have been a pretty easy winner - and the tie break score would have been 6-6 (instead of 7-5 for Zverev). I couldn't believe Carlos missed that shot.
Incredible Match from both Tennis Players however Zverev won crucial points during their close encounters what a tournament so far the level of Tennis is unreal yaaa
I've always told everyone i play with that I still think Zverev is the most overall gifted player ive ever seen. Guy has practically no weakness other than himself
Forehand, he missed so many makeable forehands today and when he gets tight he tries to spin too much and drops shot or shanks it. When I saw him in AO 2017 against Nadal i thought he will be next great thing in tennis but he never fulfilled his true potential. Hope he plays his best from next year especially at Grand slams. He choked at big moments in all majors this year
Zverev has upgraded many parts of his game the last few seasons. His volleys are much better, his forehand is much better under pressure, and his first serve is now one of the best in the game (second serve still a little shaky, but not the weakness it once was either). The last thing that Zverev needs to upgrade is his mental fortitude in grand slam finals
Their match at Cincinnati was definitely in the top 3 best matches of the year. With that said Sascha needs to beat Fritz first which will be a challenge.
Nick Kyrgios is back next month playing Brisbane as a warm up for aus open, says hes fresh, injury free and has been training A LOT,,, must say he did look FAF !
Nick is an amazingly skilful player , massive serve and great touch , his attitude can be a hindrance though , he is very entertaining even if you dont like him as a person
I always talk about how Medvedev is so fast for anyone let alone someone 6'6" but Zverev is hella fast as well especially for someone his height. Not sure if he's as fast as medvedev but definitely close. I think Medvedev is the fastest tall player 6'4" + that has ever been on tour.
That one point where chased the longline forehand from Alcaraz was crazy. And it does not even look that fast. I guess he has more trust in his body again since his accident
It was evident that those two like each other and respect each other and appreciate the level of tennis they just played. The whole match from start to the long handshake and comments to each other was beautiful. They will play many more matches in the semis and finals of tournaments. They and Sinner are the new "Big Three"!
What an incredible fight! Every player gave their best, with Sasha coming out on top. That would have been worthy of a final. Jannik can prepare himself for something, unless Casper spoils his plans.
Well done boys in that last game especially. Ridiculous stuff from both in the climax. Great handshake exchange at the net too. Great respect between each other as champions of the game.
Scary Zverev, he really outplayed Alcaraz today. And today Alcaraz was fully recovered by the cold, so no excuses. Zverev is the biggest contender for Sinner, a final between them would be exceptional. And I see Sinner slightly favourite to prevail
Very true iam a little surprised zverev lost to fritz ,sinner zverev would have been a repeat of cincinatti with sinner edging zverev in 3 tight sets but fritz is an easier opponent for sinner .

YES, I'VE SEEN SASHA PLAY, VERY OFTEN. ES[ECIALY, WHEN HE CAME INTO THE CIRCUIT. RIGHT O - ON SASHA? KEEP IT UP, AND = 2025 = WILL BE YOUR YEAR TO REMEMBER?!!
zverev is two time former winner at finals
Sascha is overflowing with fun and confidence. The volleys have gotten so much better. Incredible level by both in the last game. Let's see. Sinner delivers a great performances as well. Will be very tight.
Don't you all know that he is one step lower than other top 5 players in that indoor hard court game, ATP tour final, Australian open, etc ? That's why he loose today. Don't be too surprised. This is what usually happens. In other surfaces, he will come back and win them.
Zverev played excellent and Alcaraz didn’t even play bad this game. Zverev’s service is phenomenal!
What a performance by Zverev! Absolutely amazing!
With that being said, Sinner will destroy Zverev though, because currently, Sinner is playing at a level that even surpasses 2008 Nadal at RG.
Still, a memorable win for Zverev today!
Thank you for not spoiling with the thumbnail or the title. This videos are how I follow the matches and i think many people as well. thumbs up
Zverev nell'ultimo periodo è salito ancora di livello, soprattutto a rete. Cmq Alcaraz sempre sorridente e rispettoso. Due grandissimi atleti. 👋
Super impressed with Zverev coming into the net on what looked like 3-4 consecutive plays even though the first two didnt work. He's listening and being more aggressive... even got that slice forehand winner
I wish Zverev was once this humble and kind after a loss at the net. Carlos is giving such good vibes, gotta love him for that
Fantastic array of shots from both players.
Really magnificent striking from Sasha I really wanna see him wins another title😍
Well done congrats zverev👏👏
daaaaammnnnnnn Zverv!!!
you showed up like perfect Sinner-Alcaraz combo kill machine today!
Love the banter between these two.
Zverev deserves some grand slams, What a Gent.
After long time good to see Amezing Zverev ❤
incredible match! highest level of both players... and excellent attitude and the ending...mutual respect and fun...just how the game should be!
Merci
I am glad to finally see Zverev starting to play more aggressive tennis and coming to the net more often.
Hope to see Zverev and Sinner in final. That would be great match!
Bravo,Zverev❤
I've always told everyone i play with that I still think Zverev is the most overall gifted player ive ever seen. Guy has practically no weakness other than himself
Forehand, he missed so many makeable forehands today and when he gets tight he tries to spin too much and drops shot or shanks it. When I saw him in AO 2017 against Nadal i thought he will be next great thing in tennis but he never fulfilled his true potential. Hope he plays his best from next year especially at Grand slams. He choked at big moments in all majors this year
Yeah, it’s just his mind in the way
My lord zverev is truly back❤
Zverev vs Sinner will be really interesting to watch.
yep! like their hard-fought final in Cincinnati last August, amazing!
Yesssss, I even cry, love Zverev!! He deserves to win.
Delicious forehand on the run at 6:20. Made even more dramatic by the subsequent slide\fall. Fun to watch 🤑
super quality tennis from Alexander
Well done to both of you for your fighting spirit...their sportsmanship and the respect they showed each other at the end of the match.
6:20 "What a floorhand!"
Zerev vs Sinner would be the match of the year!
Their match at Cincinnati was definitely in the top 3 best matches of the year. With that said Sascha needs to beat Fritz first which will be a challenge.
@@soysaucehairdye7869💯❗
Crazy game ! Love Zverev !
Zverev is too good of a player not to win a grandlam! He deserves one!
So happy for Sacha, he’s been through enough disappointments. I hope he wins the tournament and challenges for slams next season.
6:05 shot of the tournament
Reminds me of that one slice point by Federer
The new Zverev with that new forehand looks absolutely unbelievable.
Brilliant Tennis 💪
Nick Kyrgios is back next month playing Brisbane as a warm up for aus open, says hes fresh, injury free and has been training A LOT,,, must say he did look FAF !
Nick is an amazingly skilful player , massive serve and great touch , his attitude can be a hindrance though , he is very entertaining even if you dont like him as a person
Looking forward in seeing him back, he's matches are never dull that for sure😊
Carlos threw everything but Sasha was unbelievable tonight
Zverev's talent and class have always been there, these days he seems to be in a much better athletic condition.
What an incredible fight! Every player gave their best, with Sasha coming out on top. That would have been worthy of a final. Jannik can prepare himself for something, unless Casper spoils his plans.
6:38 did Carlos actually ask "That`s all?" :D
Yes he did😂
I think hes saying that because he expected a bigger celebration from Zverev or am I wrong
„That shot“
He said that shot
Era alcarez it's over😂
Well done boys in that last game especially. Ridiculous stuff from both in the climax. Great handshake exchange at the net too. Great respect between each other as champions of the game.
Está jugando a las n nivel superlativo
Muy buen servicio y un físico notable
Zverev is playin better than ever😮 xcellent
Zverev and Sinner are currently the best tennis players in the world.
AND ALCARAZ-TOP 3

Some of the best playing I've seen by Sasha. I'm sad to see Carlos go, but I am really hoping for a Jannik-Sasha final.
@sanjay-ul8lch yes I think Sinner now has his hands on the trophy. He's going to win the atp finals almost surely
