- This is my Federal Signal PA2100 Siracom II siren. It's a lot different from the PA1000 Siracom siren. It features a 3 position switch with 4 push button switches. The sirens also sound different but still feature the wail, yelp and hi-lo tones.
That yelp though.
San Mateo County EMS / 911 Emergency Services ( Mobile Life Support ) had these sirens on their rigs back in the '80s . I remember I was doing my ride along for an EMT class and every time we had a Code 3 call , you could hear the rear flashers clicking inside and it would drive you crazy , but those sirens were loud !
White plains pd used to have those sirens on their police cars
Only hi-lo and yelp is legal in Europe as of 2021

Foxy The Pirate Fox oh but I though Wail and yelp are illegal in Europe?
Robert Erhardt What? No it’s not. Many countries in EU have emergency vehicles using Wail Yelp and other tones.

chrisv4096 FS should bring back the Siracom. I think it would still be a good seller in the emergency siren world :-D
