VERY RARE WHELEN WS-224 REMOTE SIREN with PIERCER TONE!!

Here it is folks....the super rare vintage Whelen WS-224B with the PIERCER tone, not the HiLo. Good luck finding one of these! I have always liked the sound of these WS-224a or WS227a sirens but now i'm very happy to have acquired this unique and very rare WS-224b from a good friend. It has the original Wail-Yelp-Airhorn tones but instead of the Hi-lo, it has the Piercer. As you can see, I also have the rare WS-224 control head that is much smaller than the original WS-224 controller. I decided to mount this siren in a box and have it displayed on my shelf. Enjoy!

Isn't that the Worborler sound . The yelp is the siren from the famous Cops in Cleveland scene "Get On It Mel, Get On It!".

I think that is actually the "Hi-Low" tone just sped up.
I have several standard 224 models and one 227.

Nice, We had 5 of these and ended up changing out the piercer siren tones back to Hi-Lo using the jumpers. Always liked Whelen for electronic siren's.

Funny how Whelen re-used a 224 casing instead of make a custom 224B casing with Piercer labeled instead of Hi-Lo.

PlatinumEagleStudio's Whelen did make one but those controllers are extremely rare. When I received this siren, it did not include it but it did come with the rare mini controller rather than the standard size 224 controller

Hi Tyler. I use inexpensive 30amp power supplies that can be bought on eBay. They work great for most of my lights. Let me see if I can find the same ones and I'll send you the link to them.
