- This is a 1980 vintage Whelen WS-222. According to the dates in the install manuals this siren preceded the WS-224/224A/227 sirens by approx. 2 years. Although similar in appearance, the 222 had differences in circuitry compared to the WS-224 series.
Man u made me feel old ! We had those on our fire trucks when I was a rookie..much louder than any new siren on the market today
Ours old fire trucks used the Federal Directors. Then the PA-200 I think. We finally settled on some Carson dual driver sirens which still work great and we love the sound.
sounds pretty good
This is awesome as hell im so buying this and putting this on my car n going through intersections with this
Did you get it yet I want 1 to.
Same here already ordered a pa200 for my car
I get that I'm replying to an ancient reply, but I just had to get it out: you and this Kieran Bricker are a
damn fool for wanting: 1) a siren for illegal purposes and 2) a very rare siren for illegal purposes.
@@kieranbricker3278 Old reply or not, you're a bloody idiot. What a waste of a PA200.
yelp: sounds like a polce car :)
that os cool
where can i buy one
Pa/ha and hi/lo
Good but you should improvise more with the "manual" in your videos, be creative! :)
By mashing on it randomly? I'd say he used it properly. I can't stand when people just start spastically messing around with the manual and airhorn tones in videos!
