G3 Draculaura is my fave. I love the ears, the height being more like canon, and just shes adorable. Her bodytype too I love on a doll, old Monster High focused on being model-esque, while these bodies are ones more common for teenagers
it really does make them feel more like a genuine ensemble of characters, and as someone with thicker thighs and more of a pear shape like this doll has it’s really cool to see a more diverse range of body shapes represented as fashionable and fun
This is by far one of the best G3 dolls. A lot of cute elements. The only real complaints I have are: 1) the headband. should have been less thick 2) The backpack/ I just hate how bulky it is. And I wish it at least had some fabric used for the straps.
I just got her from walmart a couple days ago and she's even more precious in person! I wasn't a fan of the reboot tbh, but When I saw the final product for Draculaura's G3 design, I couldn't say no to her. She was always my favorite of the franchise cause I myself enjoy wearing pigtails irl and love the colors black and pink. But I've always had self esteem issues due to my body weight and shape. When I saw how similar her new body was to mine It made me so happy. Now whenever I'm feeling down about how I look, I can look at her and be reminded that it's okay to not look like a Kardashian.
But the thing is, her body shape is very similar to the fashion trend nowadays. A big booty, thicc thighs, wide hips with a itty bitty waist. There's nothing wrong with having an in trend body shape but looking at dolls for body positivity might not be the greatest idea. After all, this is a doll, it's supposed to have these exaggerated features, be pretty, be cute etc. Especially when this is a cartoon character. I don't know about you but I don't think I'll ever look like a cartoon character no matter how hard I try.
Out of all the ones I’ve seen draculora and Cleo are the ones that actually look good. Draculora’s redesign just fits her, and Cleo’s is just beautiful in general

I put lashes on my draculaura and omggg I cant stop staring at her shes so pretty! I also repainted her shoes so the underside is black and so are the wings, the heart in the middle is red. I also painted my lagoonas arm fins blue and I love her a little more :) My only complaint is that the rooting is a little weird near the part and her bangs. I just use the headband to cover it. Also not a huge fan of her shorts but I changed it, the budget dolls shorts are wayyy cuter
Imo one thing, that would make G3 perfect is dark lip color. I still want every single new Draculaura, she looks amazing, and in all honesty, I like G3 face better. The very first MH dolls, while beautiful, had a major fish eye problem and that should be a Lagoona only feature XD
I also think that G1 Draculaura in particular sometimes had like, buck vampire teeth? When they weren't perfectly aligned, she had this kind of gaping Express that was just not very pretty XD;
I saw someone on Twitter recommend that a coat of clear gloss over the icoffin screen makes it appear much less pixelated! Their after picture was so much better :)
I love G3 Draculaura!! She and G3 Ghoulia were actually the first Monster High dolls I ever got. Her body and face sculpt is so cute and sweet, and her split dye is adorable in her iconic pigtails! I’m very tempted to buy the other Draculaura dolls, just so I can have some to customize and give my main line doll some extra outfits
I knew everyone was hateing on Draculaura and also that a good number of those haters would eventually sing her praises but I am still shocked at just how many immediately switched sides and are now making her the most popular character. I have always liked her but she is not really much like me in that she’s been so girly. G3 core Draculaura is very pretty and I like the modern twist to her Victorian influenced style. I’m sure I will find her but im hoping that will be in stores over online. Definitely excited for how these g3 ghouls are looking and the lines that are coming out soon .
The more I look at g3 Draculaura, the faster she becomes THE ultimate Draculaura to me!! G1 Draculaura's face looks so lifeless compared to her ♥️ And her curvier body is also great, love the body diversity
G1 technically had different heights and body types for the dolls, but not in the diverse (and better) way that g3 does, as the younger and older ghouls were shorter/taller and had smaller/bigger bodies, e.g. Howleen and Nefera (there's quite a few more as well).
Draculara has alway been my favorite character. When my sister and I were little we would watch all the monster high movies and play with the dolls and ever since I saw Dracula I’ve always loved her. Now her new design is amazing I love it!!!❤
The quality continues to impress, no doubt. But I feel like this new doll is a little too Melanie Martinez for my blood. But I’m biased to the unapologetic nature of the G1 line. They went for that extra bit of edge that really brought out the monster aesthetic while still being fashion dolls. The new ones seem to lose their monsters and lean more towards the fashion side alone. But who am I to judge? They’re still blowing us away with amazing dolls!!

The G3 faces look much better than the G1 faces. they look less like they are looking in two directions at once, and their eyes are closer to the center of the face. G1 look kinda fish like if you know what i mean XD

It might just be her shorts since I haven't tested their movement without the shorts but it was hard to get her in a sitting position. G1 is the only Draclaura I like and I mainly liked the pink streaks But the G1 does look weird the head is wide the eyes are a little wonky but I like g1 more

I am glad they're rubbery and not just hard plastic. But I agree felt bags would've been easier to display on the dolls
I really hate the head mold. The original was so identifiable and made MH dolls so different. Now their faces look like some Mattel rip off barbies.

I actually prefer G3. Never thought I’d say that but I love the new designs and also I love that the new dolls stand on their own, so cool.
i love every design except Lagoona’s and Cleo’s, Lagoona looks like a knockoff Jojo Siwa and Cleo just needs her bangs back
