I just got her from walmart a couple days ago and she's even more precious in person! I wasn't a fan of the reboot tbh, but When I saw the final product for Draculaura's G3 design, I couldn't say no to her.
She was always my favorite of the franchise cause I myself enjoy wearing pigtails irl and love the colors black and pink. But I've always had self esteem issues due to my body weight and shape. When I saw how similar her new body was to mine It made me so happy. Now whenever I'm feeling down about how I look, I can look at her and be reminded that it's okay to not look like a Kardashian.
Ugh it certainly is ok to not look like a Kardashian! Lovely people come in all shapes and sizes! Look around. We're all different.

But the thing is, her body shape is very similar to the fashion trend nowadays. A big booty, thicc thighs, wide hips with a itty bitty waist.
There's nothing wrong with having an in trend body shape but looking at dolls for body positivity might not be the greatest idea.
After all, this is a doll, it's supposed to have these exaggerated features, be pretty, be cute etc. Especially when this is a cartoon character.
I don't know about you but I don't think I'll ever look like a cartoon character no matter how hard I try.
“…Not look like a Kardashian”. But she does? She has a similar curvy shape and she isn’t even remotely Armenian!
This is by far one of the best G3 dolls. A lot of cute elements. The only real complaints I have are:
1) the headband. should have been less thick
2) The backpack/ I just hate how bulky it is. And I wish it at least had some fabric used for the straps.
I am glad they're rubbery and not just hard plastic. But I agree felt bags would've been easier to display on the dolls
I really hate the head mold. The original was so identifiable and made MH dolls so different. Now their faces look like some Mattel rip off barbies.

G3 Draculaura is my fave. I love the ears, the height being more like canon, and just shes adorable. Her bodytype too I love on a doll, old Monster High focused on being model-esque, while these bodies are ones more common for teenagers

Tbh the old ones gave me Tim Burton vibes and I really liked that. Although, I do like the body positivity they are promoting now.

it really does make them feel more like a genuine ensemble of characters, and as someone with thicker thighs and more of a pear shape like this doll has it’s really cool to see a more diverse range of body shapes represented as fashionable and fun
I love the split dye, but, I prefer the pink streaks in the olders dolls more. Other than that, I've this doll!! She's stunning!!!

Out of all the ones I’ve seen draculora and Cleo are the ones that actually look good. Draculora’s redesign just fits her, and Cleo’s is just beautiful in general
G1 technically had different heights and body types for the dolls, but not in the diverse (and better) way that g3 does, as the younger and older ghouls were shorter/taller and had smaller/bigger bodies, e.g. Howleen and Nefera (there's quite a few more as well).
I put lashes on my draculaura and omggg I cant stop staring at her shes so pretty! I also repainted her shoes so the underside is black and so are the wings, the heart in the middle is red. I also painted my lagoonas arm fins blue and I love her a little more :)
My only complaint is that the rooting is a little weird near the part and her bangs. I just use the headband to cover it. Also not a huge fan of her shorts but I changed it, the budget dolls shorts are wayyy cuter
How do you do rerooting as I slightly scared to ruin their face
What paint did you use 💛 I'm thinking of getting an older doll and trying to make it a bit more fun

I always wanted to love these dolls but their bodies were just too skeletal. They hit too close to home having grown up in the 90s. I was so excieted when I saw these new reboots.
Imo one thing, that would make G3 perfect is dark lip color. I still want every single new Draculaura, she looks amazing, and in all honesty, I like G3 face better. The very first MH dolls, while beautiful, had a major fish eye problem and that should be a Lagoona only feature XD
I also think that G1 Draculaura in particular sometimes had like, buck vampire teeth? When they weren't perfectly aligned, she had this kind of gaping Express that was just not very pretty XD;
I saw someone on Twitter recommend that a coat of clear gloss over the icoffin screen makes it appear much less pixelated! Their after picture was so much better :)
I knew everyone was hateing on Draculaura and also that a good number of those haters would eventually sing her praises but I am still shocked at just how many immediately switched sides and are now making her the most popular character. I have always liked her but she is not really much like me in that she’s been so girly. G3 core Draculaura is very pretty and I like the modern twist to her Victorian influenced style. I’m sure I will find her but im hoping that will be in stores over online. Definitely excited for how these g3 ghouls are looking and the lines that are coming out soon .
I love G3 Draculaura!! She and G3 Ghoulia were actually the first Monster High dolls I ever got. Her body and face sculpt is so cute and sweet, and her split dye is adorable in her iconic pigtails!
I’m very tempted to buy the other Draculaura dolls, just so I can have some to customize and give my main line doll some extra outfits
I actually prefer G3. Never thought I’d say that but I love the new designs and also I love that the new dolls stand on their own, so cool.
i love every design except Lagoona’s and Cleo’s, Lagoona looks like a knockoff Jojo Siwa and Cleo just needs her bangs back
The more I look at g3 Draculaura, the faster she becomes THE ultimate Draculaura to me!! G1 Draculaura's face looks so lifeless compared to her ♥️ And her curvier body is also great, love the body diversity

Draculara has alway been my favorite character. When my sister and I were little we would watch all the monster high movies and play with the dolls and ever since I saw Dracula I’ve always loved her. Now her new design is amazing I love it!!!❤
The quality continues to impress, no doubt. But I feel like this new doll is a little too Melanie Martinez for my blood. But I’m biased to the unapologetic nature of the G1 line. They went for that extra bit of edge that really brought out the monster aesthetic while still being fashion dolls. The new ones seem to lose their monsters and lean more towards the fashion side alone. But who am I to judge? They’re still blowing us away with amazing dolls!!
I have g3 draculaura (she literally came in the mail today) and oh my… i loveeee this doll, the hair is beautiful as when she sits it like perfectly drapes 😭 i want more g3 now

I wasn’t a fan of Monster High. But I was intrigued when ur channel was recommended to me a few months ago. But then came G3 Draculaura and I fully intend on buying most any new Drac’s that get released 😅Already have the core and goreganizer. Pre-Ordered the Creepover.
Draculaura has all ways been my favourite from like 2012 to now and I love her new body type🥺🤌
I love love love the new face screening. She looks mischievous and cute at the same time. The clothes are nice on the new dolls as well.

The more i look at the new Monster High dolls the more i find the old ones odd. I guess im sold to the new ones. And im an og collector.
G3 Draculaura is beautiful, I’ve liked her ever since I was a child and will never hate her, I have one dislike about lagoona because I don’t like how they changed her to pink but I’m starting to grow on it because it’s kinda starting to fit her
Overall I like the G3 Count Fabulous more, but I wish he at least had bigger ears or something so he'd look more like a proper bat instead of a cat with wings 😆 Maybe a different shape for his feet too, they don't look like they'd support his chunky body at all if he tried hanging upside down lol

Probably my face G3 love the body type change and im with you why is everyone hating on the split dye it looks so cute. I cant wait to get mine its taking a month to get to me but i cant wait to customize some of her accessories

The G3 faces look much better than the G1 faces. they look less like they are looking in two directions at once, and their eyes are closer to the center of the face. G1 look kinda fish like if you know what i mean XD

other than the split doll i like the new doll more than the original! i just think that they modernized her very well.

There are a few of these available yet today at my Walmart. I am praying for a sale on this. It is about $40 yet. Draculaura is super cute minus the white heart freckles.

Also I love the new body shapes! The originals always looked too thin to 7 (or younger or older) year old me, so I wanted an ever after high doll, because the monster highs were really slim, I never ended up getting an EAH but I’m looking forward to the g3 monster highs!

controversial opinion but i think g3 is better in almost every aspect! I cannot wait to see other monsters coming out :) abbey is my fave out of the g3 line up.

She's a nice doll, though I wish she had the hat. Personally I don't like the split dyed hair because it reminds me of Bratzillaz Cloetta. A part of me has to wonder if Mattel did that on purpose.

Today i got her for chistmas!
I bought a g3 Draculaura yesterday and unboxed her today and I absolutely love her. But has anyone had one with stiff leg joints? It might just be her shorts since I haven't tested their movement without the shorts but it was hard to get her in a sitting position. This is literally my second ever monster high doll tho so maybe I'm missing something
Anyone else think it’s weird how her pet went from bipedal to quadruped in its newer molds?
Personally I am not a huge fan of the redesign though I’m glad they stuck with most of the same color palettes. The G3 monster high dolls almost completely derail from the originals. What makes me sad is that they completely changed almost everything about these dolls besides the color palettes. I mean lagoona isn’t lagoona anymore she’s a completely different doll with the same name as the original. I’m all for body positivity with these dolls and how diverse all the body types are but still.
I got her 2 days ago because all the monster high dolls were sold out, but I was lucky and saw them when they literally was putting them up and got her ,
