I carry mine on and off duty every day for years now (belt and neck). It’s always with me.....always. I have the micarta scales and yes, they are expensive but I am glad I got off the cash. The scales totally transform the knife into an EDC BEAST!
Glad to see they have redesigned the sheath. I have one of the older ones, and it was the bluntest knife I have ever purchased. Every time I sharpened it, and put it away, it would be in terrible shape the next time I tried to use it. Eventually I tried keeping it in the cardboard sleeve it came in, and it is gradually getting sharp. It will cut hanging paper, but won't shave arm hair yet. When it is sharp enough to carry I will need to get a new sheath made.

I think it’s too heavy for a neck knife, I love mine but I to use the clip and it’s totally worth it! I also got the micarda scales which make it nice. But I wonder if they replace the sheath because I wasn’t that lock for sure! I know they have a lifetime warranty or blade replacement..?
It’s a private company that makes the scales looking back they are too expensive but the look it’s so nice and the feel. If you can buy a piece of micarda and shape them that may be cheaper
The wire breakers are for Twisted wire only like a chain link fence to untwist and open the link, they won’t break wire any better than just twisting the wire with your hands!
DrugTalk 101 It’s designed to twist barbed wire fencing to a point of snapping. It works extremely well when you know how to use it in that capacity. Keep it in the sheath when doing that. Lol
Picked mine up for $35 at LAPG with discount and rewards. Easy to make scales for this sweet little knife. 1095 CROVAN is dependable and easily sharpened.
Cool strong little neck knife, but I can't justify its price. Hell, I can get a USA made 7" 1095 steel blade OKC fighting/utility knife for less then this thing. If interested, I just saw $15 dollar scales for it on eBay that look like they will work fine.
I'd like to hear from someone that has really put it through the test. How long does it hold an edge? I have one and have the micarta scales. Even with the scales the back of the handle bits into your palm. It is not at all comfortable.Doesn't seem to hold a good edge to me. It is cool though, but if I was to grab a knife to go everyday with that would not be my first choice. I am happy I have one for my collection but I do not believe it is all that! There are much better knives out there in the same price point. I'm just keeping this real.. ;-)
Do you have the old one? As mentioned in the review, the sheaths can make contact with the edge, which will mess it up. Try sharpening it and keeping it in the cardboard sleeve.
@@mathswithgarry7104 If it dulls just going in and out of the case, what does that say for the edge retention of the steel. I do have the older version with the bottle cap remover on the end of the handle. The micarta grips help but if you had to use the knife alot i can see getting hot spots. I guess there is no perfect knife out there. But I keep buying! ;-)

What kind of idiots get their neck cord caught on something? Wear it under your shirt, duh!
