    I have had one for several years, I also stripped the coating also. Good little knives!

    Shock cord will work better than a ranger band for retention, and it is smaller. I use it to hold my fero rod on the knife sheath. I don't have a BK-11, but want one. Great knife.

    Nice one Lars, I like it better without the coating too. I also think your right about it covering up small imperfections though. Thanks for sharing

    Thanks for the view & tips my friend I really enjoyed ur bk2 vid. & yeah I seen every1 was removing all the coating I cldnt believe it.lol I even put another coat off Rustoleum on under the scales to make sure it was well protected lol but thanks for the heads up & thanks for the tinder trick Ill have 2 try that. Thank you.

    I really like this video to. Not as much as the BK2 vid because you didnt put it to use like the BK2 lol but man the video quality is fantastic. & the background is just beautiful. Looks nice but I bet it is hella cold huh? Lol Im glad you have the top of the line gear to keep you warm my friend & may you stay blessed, warm & full my friend.

    Mate that looks SO COLD how do you do it. I like it at 33 to 40c if it gets to 17c i am looking for firewood.

      LOL You crack me up mate. The cold and snow have it's advantages. Personally i like it not too cold or warm:)

    Looks functional. Para-cord is always great to have in an emergency situation.

    looks good, i do like a knife with a thick spine.
    I'm almost tempted to lose my Puukko in order to free up some room for a replacement.

      LOLI like the Kabar knives. Not the most elegant finish but it's not important to me anyway.
