    Took all the bass out of it, I like stock better honestly. Not that it sounds bad at all! Sweet ride.

      Honestly, I like it, most V6s with exhaust sound very mid pitched, neither deep or screaming, this one can actually scream

    I’ve got the V6S. I too would like a little more sound in the lower revs but this exhaust system took the deep tone out.

      Hi Michael. We have a variety of exhaust options available, since there are a variety of tastes and preferences out there. If you're looking for a deeper tone, stick with the OEM Downpipes (not the ones in this video) and pair that with our valved exhaust. It deepens the done quite substantially: www.velocityap.com/product/jaguar-f-type-v6-v6s-xpipe-exhaust-valvetronic-sound-level/

    Jag v6 owner here have a complete redone exhaust , custome built , to get rid of the trumpet noise you need a better set of resonators and a cat delete but yours doesnt sound bad at all
    If your happy with it all the power to you man
    Have a good one

      Different strokes for different folks! VelocityAP offers lots of different options - downpipes with and without resonators, 4 different exhaust variants. Need a broad range to accommodate different tastes.

      @ericispoo 6 лет назад

      Velocity Automotive Performance Hi, thanks for the reply. in this video, only the 200 cell cat is installed for the exhaust part? i love the stock exhaust note, but i just want it to be more louder and with more pop sound. also better sound in low rev. does the ECU tune influence the exhaust note?

    • @VelocityAP
      @VelocityAP  6 лет назад

      Eric Li in this video, just the 200 cells

    • @ericispoo
      @ericispoo 6 лет назад

      Velocity Automotive Performance so, is it a lot more louder then the stock? because after the Fi 200 cell, i really lose confidence on 200 cell cat. Do you think a 200 cell cat with x pipe, and stock end exhaust will work? i really want to keep the stock exhaust note.

    • @VelocityAP
      @VelocityAP  6 лет назад

      Eric Li if you don’t like the sound with 200 cell cats, I would consider going back to stock cats and choosing one of our back boxes like the valved system

    I like the sound and performance of mine stock too and don't want to spend money on after market parts on a car that has already been extensively engineered thru expensive R&D done by the manufacturer by professional engineers that designed and built the car, not to mention reducing resale value of the car. Just my 2 cents.

    • @VelocityAP
      @VelocityAP  2 года назад +1

      Hi Dave. Absolutely. Modifying cars is not for everyone, it's a personal thing and we always recommend that people don't do it if they aren't comfortable. For sure there's lots of R&D and engineering, however there's also lots of cost-cutting and design issues with any vehicle and the aftermarket is often poised to either address weak points, or simply to unlock power that is already there (for example, JLR has a 340, 380 and 400BHP calibration for the V6 engine, even though they are all the same engine.)
