    I own a 2015 F-Type S. After 21,000 miles on it I can say it's been a great car. Especially in a world where a Hyundai looks the same as a BMW which looks the same as a Buick.

    With all that technology I’m surprised that the vehicle has such an analog shade for the sunroof.

  • @Mr-E.

    There is no way to keep that spoiler from going up at 70 mph? Losing that visibility would be annoying and also seems like a red flag for highway patrol.

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  4 года назад +1

      There is a way to keep the spoiler from coming up(from what I’m told) to completely disconnect. Taking the fuse out does not work as there are other computer communications that will raise the spoiler even when fuse is missing. However, I would think twice about not having it go up at faster speeds (if you do not have another spoiler/wing mounted) due to it adding around 300 pounds of downforce to keep you well planted while at such high speeds. Kind of a nuisance for visibility but🤷🏽‍♂️😂Thank you for watching!! 🙏🏽✌🏽

    Not fully loaded...no exterior design pack or flat-bottomed steering wheel - both essential looks-wise imo! I have a 2017 base bought at 9 mnths old.

    • @ph8077
      @ph8077 4 года назад

      & no heated front screen!

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  4 года назад

      Not really sure what you mean on exterior pack. Exterior pack like, side skirts, extended front lip, different rear diffuser and flat bottom steering wheels only comes when you seek a v6 S or v8 versions. As for the base v6 models (which in this case) different interior trims where given, this being the highest, hence fully loaded (specific to this model).
      Luggage space does suck!! No doubt about that but surprisingly not too bad when it comes to making a trip to the grocery store. ✌🏽😁

    Nice car. I’m on the market for one spec just like yours. Any tips on how to buy one? Where is the best place to find one? Thanks.

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  5 лет назад +3

      Hey Ralph, thanks for watching! I would say there is no specific place to look at when buying one of these vehicles. I was looking for a f-type months before I found this one. I would look on cargurus, carfax.com, and autotrader.com primarily though. It also helps to stay out of the northern states when searching for one of these due to running risks of rust and other things of that nature. Good luck on your search and hope you find one soon! ✌🏽

    Nice review! I have a 2015 V6 S in white with red interior and love it! What tune do you have? I added extended paddles which you can find on EBay and once the Perelli’s wore out I replaced them with Michelin’s MUCH BETTER handling IMO

      Man, I am so sorry! I didn't see this comment until now. My apologies!🙏🏽
      White and red interior is mint! 🔥I have a Viezu tune and have had it for a about 6 months now and have no issues with it! Huge difference! But I can't wait until my Pereli's run out to get something more grabby IMO. I will definitely have to look into those michelins though😁✌🏽

    How much does it take for maintenance cost?

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  5 лет назад +2

      Hieu Lai absolutely nothing! Haha. Jag has a 5year/60,000mile bumper to bumper warranty and yes, it includes oil changes, even brakes...etc. However, tires are on you. So if you burnout a lot, track it...etc. plan on paying for tires. Even if you get a Jag that is used but falls with in the 5yr/60kmiles, it still has a warranty and you can take it to a jag/Land Rover dealer. Hope this helps ✌🏽

    I'm considering B8 RS5, w204 C63 coupe, c43 coupe and M4 as my next daily driver, but really liking the F Type right now. However living in San Antonio I don't know if I would want to drive it daily.

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  5 лет назад

      WhiskeyActual to be completely transparent, I would go with one of the other cars for a daily 😬. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this F-Type and it’s extremely fun to drive but for daily use you have a very small trunk, it’s pretty low and visibility could be better. It’s also always a very rough ride (great for track and racing but for everyday use it may get annoying). Not to mention on even the M4 and C63 coupes and all will gave way more room in the cabin rather than the Jag. (Better cup holders I’m sure too 🤪)
      All in all this is my weekend driver and I absolutely love it but for a daily it might be more challenging to love haha. Hope this helps ✌🏽

    Any F Type owner knows that the OEM brake pads create horrible brake dust. Simple fix-switch out the pads.

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  2 года назад

      You’d be surprised 😆 but correct. They’re a semi metallic pad which are prone for brake dust. Ceramic pads are not.

    Hey question im looking at a 2015 v6s and wanted to know if it has diff problems as the v8r has or any diff oil leakage or pinion seal leakage or breather hose leakage or any supercharger oil leakage. If not yours do you know if it's a common problem with the v6s

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  4 года назад +2

      I have not had any issues with the diff so far on the v6. Even after I have been running the tune for a while on it. No oil leaks as of yet and quite honestly has been pretty reliable so far. Engine and breather hoses under covers are good so far as well. The only issues I have ever had with this car so far is a module staying awake causing the battery to die(a software update from dealer fixed the issue), and sunshade breaking in the interior. Other than that no other drivability or leaking issues 🤞🏽. Hope this helps!😁✌🏽
