- The first ride on my new 2021 Sherco 300se factory edition. I'm really liking the KYB suspension and the motor has lots of power. The stock jetting is rich but I'll be taking care of that before the next ride. More to come on this bike as the good riding season is almost upon us.

Welcome to the Sherco club mate, I have 20 odd hours on mine and i reckon the forks saved me a few times - confidence inspiring.. I look forward to seeing more of the blue beast.
Thanks for all the time in setting up the shots of this bike in action. Sweet riding conditions.
Nice shakedown ride, it definitely seems sweet! Congrats again. What a torque laden toy. Jealous 💥
Sherco is looking good so far! This is gonna be my next bike so I'm looking forward to the content
Thanks, more coming soon!
Im 84kg without gear, ran the fork 14 out for a while then back in to 12 out on Compression. Everything else in the middle. Great for tech, a little soft in the rear on faster fire roads
Good ol' Nutt. That rock and creek at the start has claimed me a few times. A little envious of your new bike, sherco's are sweet.
You should do a how-to vid on shaving your seat. Final product looks factory!
KYB !!!! I love mine, so glad to be off orange!!
Lame. Lol jk hope you like your ride!
@@bensmith8125 hahaha
Blue on Blue for the first ride nice. Bike sounds good and clean running.
Welcome to the Blu Cru.
I've been on a '14 300 SEFR for the past few seasons. Great bike but I'm considering going back to 2T if I can find one.
I think I told you last time a guy I ride with has the 250se factory, well now another guy I just started riding with was on a 16 wr250 and just bought the 300se factory just like yours, picking it up Saturday, I love my yz250fx but I'm starting to get that itch🙄
You know you want to! Join the new "Blu Cru". The 300sef four stroke looks good too.
Wow that bike looks very light and nimble.sounds awesome 👌 maybe I will see you on the trail.
i have a 2020. Great bikes
This bike sounds like a dream!!
Snow is cleaner than mud so that new Sherco still nice and shiny🙂
She's so pretty I almost don't want to get her dirty!
Living that 300 life now eh? Sounds good. Dont want her too lean . Then again i never have been one to try to jet down to the edge of crispness then possible seizure on a fast transfer then throttle chop. Looking great.
Yes I've been wanting to switch to a 300 for a while, it was time.
Bike sounds awesome!!! I had a 2018 300 sherco but recently switched to 2021 husky te300i. Had to try something different
Any reason for the switch? Or you just wanted to trade one really good bike for another? I'll buy a 300 2-stroke someday for sure. It will be hard to decide which company to try though. KTM and Beta are plateable even in 2-stroke form vs. Sherco isn't (in Massachusetts at least). That's a big factor for me. Also, I have a 2018 ktm 500 right now which completely rocks my world in any and all terrain I bring it on, so, it would be hard not to give their 300 exc-f a try after having a love affair with it's larger sister. But, the Sherco does have that super exotic appeal going for it right now. I have never seen one in real life up here in the northeast. Sherco and TM both have that really cool super exotic appeal which is tempting.
I just bought the Beta300RR and I love it...power is very linear but it came running a little rich also
I love the Beta 300rr motor and transmission, best part about that bike.
Iam on 2021 300se racing model great wp setting amazing bike
I never see the racing models here, shops only bring in the Factory Editions.
@@PNWEnduro true, here in israel aswell most of the riders take the factory model, for me the racing is great dont need kyb the setting wp in sherco is amazing, and the bike is much more expensive
Awesome bike, congrats! Looking forward to your thoughts on the smart carb.
Just rode it with the SC today!
Seems like a very nice bike.
OEM and aftermarket parts availability and resale will probably keep me on team orange
I dunno, we have had people waiting months for TP sensors for KTM's around here. Seems like parts are hard to get for a lot of brands in todays market. Aftermarket, yes KTM has way more options.
I like your choice of colors on the Mika bars sir
Astra Offroad bars.
Nice, i'm really tempted to buy one on september/october...
Got 1 ordered, i still have a few months to wait. What camera are you running and where do you have it mounted. Nice clear footage👍
Riding in snow and ice it’s not going up that’s scares be but coming down lol😬😬.. I had one of the worst wrecks of my life early season riding, went down a hill that’s usually no problem but it was just mud with a layer of ice underneath.... big run away... big crash..
Couple of questions.
1. Roughly what was the price out the door?
2. Where is this trails you are riding at? (city/state)
3. What's a smart carb, someone was asking about, and its benefit from it, compared to the stock one?
Thanks
1. check msrp in your area, prices vary by region. Around here they are a few hundred more than a KTM.
2. I don't publicly share locations, msg me on IG.
3. Smartcarb is a self-metering carburetor, it automatically adjusts for different elevations and temperatures. I will have a new video out tomorrow on the Smartcarb.
Great vids. Did you try the 250 also and if so how do you compare? What made you choose the 300 over the 250?
Yes, it's the bike that got me interested in switching to Sherco. ruclips.net/video/PyeVEjQVAyY/видео.html The 300 is better for most of the riding I do, plus I had 2 250's in a row and wanted a change.
Where is this in the pnw? Looks like an awesome set of trails
Did you smart carb it? Still waiting on mine
Seems like a plush set up
Seriously thinking of a 250 sherco factory or a beta 200rr race edition, female rider, 5 foot 7, 130lbs, riding regular enduro and hare and hounds races. Have you had any electrical issues or issues with the electric start so far? How is the bottom end of the sherco 250, I've had a brief ride of a 2019 Sherco factory 250 and was very impressed. How was the weight when picking the bike up in technical terrain? My last bike was a 2019 ktm 150 xc-w, I find myself wanting more torque.
@HR Enduro no electrical issues so far, electric starter works well. The 250 model I rode had good bottom end power, more than my KTM tpi 250 did. The weight picking it up is not bad, lifting the back end up when you need to feels a little more heavy than I'm used to. A Sherco 250 will have way more torque than your carbed 150 for sure. The Beta 200rr would as well but it still likes to be ridden a little harder like a lot of small bores.
Compared to the GasGas EC 300, which has a more stable feel and do you think one would suit someone over 6ft with long arms better?
I Think you may prefer the fit of the gas gas. The Sherco feels smaller.
Have you played with jetting at all on your bike? I have a friend with a Cherico that’s got some blubbering right off bottom and we’re having a hell of a time cleaning it out.
If its a carb bike I usually put a Smartcarb on.
@@PNWEnduro sorry. Sherco. Text to speech error. Your same bike
It is crazy how manufacturers can build such a great bike but cannot get the carburetor right?
How can you say that? One bike may be sold in Colorado at 6000' and another in Oregon at 1000', each would require different jetting.
I dunno if it's my imagination but your riding looks much smoother on the Sherco?
Kind of feels like it so far. This bike changes direction faster than a KTM.
Which has better tractibility on the bottom end, ,Beta or Sherco?
Really like the Shercs, did you ride the 20 or 21 300 XCW?
Recently I've rode 2020 300xcw and 300xc as well as 2021 TX300i and EC300.

How it is compared w 300tx I?
I heard some complaints about the angle of the foot pegs on the Sherco - i.e. they angle flat or even down compared to a few degrees up on the euro bikes. How did you find that?
They are flat. A little weird at first but I actually think I prefer them now.
Not a big problem but quality is bad so after lot of riding they get even negative angle and need welding work to fix that
To me they feel like they are rolled back toward the rear of the bike through the axis of the pegs. You get used to it
you say u went stiffer? naw mate for your speed and terrain in this video go softer not stiffer. This terrain is XCW soft all day long. adjust in that direction. hope you dont mind my comments, thanks for the videos just sharing my 2 cents :)
I've played around with different settings at a few locations and I have it set softer than the stock settings now.
@@PNWEnduro nice
Do you prefer C Birch bar bend or the standard Apollo option ?
So far I think so, but I've tried them on different bikes so hard to say for sure.
Are you running the enduro or cross setting on the reversible throttle cam?
Whatever the stock setting is.
Not sure what it is as didnt pay attention and started messing around with it to change grips and realized later it had 2 positions. Wondering what stock position was??
Did you get 20 mm bars or the Chris Birch bend?
I have the Chris Birch bars on this bike.
What gearing ratio?
Are you guys out of Canada or the USA?
B.C. Canada, Coastal mtns
What were you running for tires?
IRC VE33s rear stock Micheline Enduro front.
which is better? lectron or sc on this new blue cru beast?
I believe the SC is superior to the Lectron.
@@PNWEnduro I love and hate both those carbs haha.
Is that a MTB trail?
No.
Is this with tubliss, mousse or tubes?
Mousses.
@@PNWEnduro awesome shes a tractor miss the 250? Or are you a 300 guy now
I think I'm a 300 guy for sure. Still nothing wrong with 250's though.
@@PNWEnduro you’re looking damn good on that sherco buddy made that slick rock look easy
@Get Outdoors thanks, it's a fun bike to ride so far.
How do you compare engine with ktm tpi? My expirience is sherco revs much slower and is easier to stall at low rpm. I am talking about 2018 sherco, maybe something is changed
I have not had any stalling issues really.
when tuned correctly, my 250 SE Factory becomes difficult to stall...compared to say the 2017 KTM's, I'll take the 36mm carb any day over the 38mm.
TPI, I could care less about...
@@hoptard yeah, with tpi riders could finally just ride and not tinker with bike but for me there is much more tinkering with tpi to get it to work properly than with keihin on my old sherco. That said tpi does work better and doesnt stall as much (if it works at the time)
@@maucina12 Seems like PNW Enduro's found the magic sauce with the 36mm Smart Carb...his review of it on his 300 has definitely piqued my interest, though an expensive venture.
