Super smooth rider, totally in control and very efficient! You rock on that Husky, absolutely solid rider!!! Love the new location, thank you for sharing.
I got caught in a storm, mid-summer (on mtb) in Montana one time. Snow pellets, with a temp drop of about 20 degrees. It was in a burn area, and the trees were old enough that the wind brought them down all around me. I had to climb over, around, and under about 12 trees in a mile. I would have had to walk out if I was on a moto. I suggest folks find out how old a burn area is, and if it's older, plan ahead. You never know what might happen.
Great video as always nice change of pace vs recent rides. Is it possible or feasible to add a data box that indicates things like elevation, temperature and speed? Thanks
@@PNWEnduro so you pull the video right off the SD card into a computer (or tablet?) in to Adobe. Then whatever video it renders, RUclips accepts that quality and posts it? I take 4K video in the dji mimo app, but it only offers 1080p rendering. But even still, when I upload that, RUclips only plays 360p unless you go in to settings and chose 1080
Yes SD card into laptop and into premiere. Select 4K when exporting edited video to computer and then upload that video to YT. If your program will only render up to 1080p then that’s the highest resolution you will get on RUclips as well.
I may have missed it in one of your other videos so I apologize in advance… Have you done anything to your motor and/or ECU mapping? I’m towing with the idea on my 24 KTM 300 of at least doing something with the mapping because it feels way too rich throughout a lot of the power curve. Not sure I want to put a performance head or insert on it as of yet. Also, I’m very curious about your map switch. After writing my bike I just decided not to put it on for now because I didn’t really see a big need however I would be curious about your thoughts and whether you use it or not? Thank you. Oh and just as a follow up I recently only got 53 miles off of very topped off tank of gas. We were doing quite a bit of single track. Little disappointing on the range for the stock tank and of course there was gas in the tank when it ran out, I definitely like you will be caring fuel bottles.
I haven’t done any ecu mapping or engine mods, I don’t feel the need to. Noah on this ride has his ecu mapped and he’s using the same amount of fuel as I am. The map switch does make a difference but I’ve just had it in the green map only the last several rides.
Did you end up having to use the fuel or not really? Picking up my 300 xc-w tomorrow and wondering about mileage on real rides. Thanks a lot for your range video on the husky, that's really useful. Cheers
@@PNWEnduro I was considering an after market tank to increase the range but it looks like the issue with the gas pick up/pump may be worse on non oem tanks. That’s all speculation though I haven’t done proper research yet.
Footage is so smooth. watched with the sound off so if you answered the question sorry haha Are you using the dj osmo or the go pro 12? I cant remember which one you decided to stick with?
@PNWEnduro and the superveiw mode while being able to film in 60fps instead of 30 like the 9, the 9 also sux in dim light. If I got more then 300 views per video I'd have upgraded already😜😜
Unfortunately, they all suck in dim light, I hardly film anything in the wither months because it looks like crap. Hopefully the Hero 13 gets a bigger lens to help low light filming a bit.
Haven't heard you complain alot about the steering radius of the new bike like you would on the Beta's. Typical KTM/Husqvarna owner, crickets when there's something shitty about there bikes.
LOL, maybe because the steering radius is good? Far better than any Beta I've ridden, although I have not been on the 2024's yet. I have pointed out the range per tank is not great, the new start/stop button is stupid and the chain guide is a piece of junk.

Great video, I just picked up the same bike as yours and really appreciate your content!
Wow 😮 I'm so jealous, I wish I could still ride there's nothing else in the world like a beautiful single track through the mountains 👍😊
Great single trac riding!
Also been caught in a winter squall on the bike. 8K’ Top of Mount Bangs in the Virgin Mountains. Yes that sounds like a joke but it’s a place lol

How do you run your suspension, comfort, standard or sport. I’ve been running in standard but I think im going to try comfort. I have 24 Ktm 250xcw.
Still how it came off the showroom floor. I think 16 on Comp and 14 Rebound.
Great video!
Thanks!

I think GoPro took that function away on the new cameras to extend battery life.
Rode that area for the first time a few weeks ago, super cool trails. My buddy and I cut that big tree out at 7:20!
Thanks for your work on the trails, much appreciated!
Great video. What editing app are you using to get 2.7k+ to play on RUclips?
I edit with Adobe Premiere Elements 23.

This is epic riding
That was cool. (Pun intended) I definitely didn't expect snow considering how sunny the first part of the video was. :)
Great video, it’s a 109 f here in So AZ envious as can be of the snow you rode in ! “Usually always “ 😂 I make fun of my girlfriend for saying that
ya it’s hot as balls here

Hey do you think the TBI setups are un--reliable?
No, I wouldn’t have bought one if I thought they were un-reliable.

Yes, we all used extra fuel. 60 miles is about the max range on this tank, not great.

GoPro 12. DJI had a few things that were dealbreaker’s unfortunately.
@PNWEnduro thanks, awsome track.
I'm using the gopro9 will update to the 12 shortly.
The 11/12 are a big upgrade because of the 10 bit color.

THEIR bikes. (God may have given interweb blowhards poor educations, but at least he made up for it with strong opinions)
