If the beginning of this video looks familiar it’s because the seed making is the same clip I used a few years ago for my other watermelon soap. I do it the exact same way so I didn’t film that part again. 😁🍉❤️
I always get excited when that whisk comes out at the end. It never looks bad when you do the top that way... I'm sure it's not nearly as easy as you make it look either
Oh, I did the heat transfer method the other day and I love it, it does save time and dishes lol! I also made goat milk soap with 100% milk, my 1st batch, I loved that too! Waiting for it all to cure is the hard part 😫.
Wow girl am making you queen of soaps BC you are the best there is and I realized that its not about money with you or else you would've been making by the truckload ..So its about doing something that you have a passion for and I really respect that in you ..I do arts and crafts I don't have a channel but I really enjoy making stuff from recycled products thank you for showing your work its very much appreciated may the works of your hands be continue to be blessed in JESUS name and may you continue to sell all of your soaps and have many many more orders blessings from the Caribbean..
I like it even more than the previous watermelon soap. When you wanted totry the heat transfer for all the oils I freaked out. I was like what will she if it didnt melt haha. Could it be because of summer and oils are warmer?
I’m not sure. It stays around 70-75° in my soap room. I was so surprised it melted it all. I’ve made soap using that method a few more times. Small batches and large. It always melts! Crazy! :)
When you're adding the lye to the hard oils AND soft oils at the same time, the lye has to heat up a larger quantity of oils in total. Physically speaking, it would thus make sense to do keep doing it the way you always did it before this video. But you say it only took 5 mins this time as well, so maybe your experience is not quite in accordance with my physical reasoning :D
wondering how the soap batter still stunning until the last layer. i always fighting with accelerating, so making three layer soap like this layer is a hard work and still cant do this till now
I try not to over stick blend in the beginning. I mix it until it just combined. Doing this will allow it to stay fluid for a very long time. And I’ll add the fragrance to each layer instead of all at once.
turned out fantastic, again! I made a watermelon soap (first time) and the scent COMPLETELY disappeared after 24 hours. :( I didnt read the reviews before I bought the fragrance oil! wamp wamp wamp....
Hi Ophelia, i love your videos & the way you prepare things 😊 Can you PLEASE advice me where i can purchase the Large mixing bowl-the one you mixed the oils/lye in? Thank you Ophelia 💖😀
As a retired, after 18 years, soapmaker I have never seen the wafers that you use as one of your hard oils, would you share what they are and allow my curiosity to retire also? Thanks!

I was about to say ! I still love it 😍
How do you keep your soap so fluid!?
I think not over mixing helps :)
The whisk texturing on top is so cute!

Best looking watermelon soap I've seen.
Lovely. I liked your little whisk action on the top.
OMG!! That is so precious!! Love that texturing technique on top too!!
Watermelon for the win! 🍉🍉 These turned out so adorable! Love the way you made the embeds!
love the texture on the top with the whisk. I don't think I've ever seen something like that
Love the idea of making the seeds on strips of paper. Brilliant.

It is the hard part, because that's when the soap gets... hard..ened..
It was so satisfying to watch the red flow over 😍 I rewinded it twice. 🤣
So much care is put into every bar of soap! Love it and it turned out beautiful ❤
Thank you so much ☺️
I love this soap, the texture is just like a piece of watermelon, so cool! The seeds are interesting too. 😎🙂
A beautiful watermelon soap, the seeds are perfect.
Best watermelon I have ever seen. Thx🌷
Pretty amazing how reflective that shining Soap is...you can see your image in it when pouring that second layer. Beautiful work!
The texture on top is actually gorgeous
You made a lovely watermelon soap. I can almost smell it. Great job!💖
I just got a watermelon fragrance, haven't tried it yet but it smells like candy. I've been looking forward to making my 1st watermelon soap all year
Clever idea for the melon pips.
Lovely as always. You are such an inspiration. Love your soaps!

Wow so pretty, love how you do the seeds. 🍉
Woooww
Absolutely mesmerising.
What fragrance did you add for the soap to smell like watermelon?
Love this soap! Another lovely batch :-)
Love this! That red 😍
I’m so sad I’ve tried twice and both started as a gorgeous red and saponified to a pink. Always next year to get it right.
so there was no noticeable difference in putting your hard oil with your liquid oil for the heat transfer method?
Not at all. It took the same amount of time to melt. Surprised me!
Eu simplesmente estou viciada nesses vídeos 🥰
Wow how is your soap batter so fluid even if you soaped at such high temperatures?
I don’t over stick blend :)
Beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for videoing this. How do you tidy up the edges of the soaps?
I use a beveler/planer :)
@@OpheliasSoapery Can you show that sometime?😊

Could you leave the seeds in the freezer paper till use, or should you unwrap them for storage?
You can leave them in the paper. I had mine for a few weeks. :)
Thanks! Love the idea on making the round rods!
I have don that with clay for pots but didn’t think of soap!
I love those little seeds. Will there be any color change as it cures?
Nope. It doesn’t discolor :)
❤️

No it was the same :)
I am a new subscriber and I just want to say I love your channel. And where can I buy this soap?
Thank you so much! It will be available July 10th at 9am CST on my website www.opheliassoapery.com
As a retired, after 18 years, soapmaker I have never seen the wafers that you use as one of your hard oils, would you share what they are and allow my curiosity to retire also? Thanks!
It’s cocoa butter wafers :)
@@OpheliasSoapery Thank you! I should have guessed that but I've never seen it in wafers before!
