This is my first time ever watching soap being made like this. I truly enjoyed the process. At first I could not imagine how the layers were being formed and as I watched I realized just how creative an artist you are. The details that show in each layer show the passion you have for your craft. 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing how you did the sun. You have introduced a new dimension to me, ie. using cut scrapers to create designs. AND not only is the soap beautiful but so is the music. thanks again.
Thank you Barbara! You should try it, it's definitely one of my favorite techniques! I'd love to see yours if you do. And thank you so much for the sweet comment 💕
Such beautiful soap! Thank you for sharing! Editing to add this. I just read that you made this to honor Amy Warden and encourage her as she battles cancer. This is such a precious gift. The image of the dawn of a beautiful new day. Perfect for someone who seeks a new, healthy beginning!
I've been watching cold process soap makers for a long time, and this is a whole new style to me! I never would have thought of it, and I love it! Absolutely beautiful soaps! And not a bunch of talking. Perfect. I agree I would also have liked to have seen at least one piece being cut.
I've watched this video countless amounts of times as I see this exact image as I take my daughter to school at 6.45am the only difference is there aren't clouds but hills and valleys and the sun peeps over the largest hill on the horizon. I love this soap and it's my favorite of all the amazing soaps you've done. I would love to be half this good one day.
Tanya, thank you so much for your kind words! This scene could definitely be one of mountains instead of storm clouds, and I'm sure that is just a magical scene to watch each day! Pour your heart into your work and don't box yourself in your mind as to what you can or can't do. You absolutely will be amazing and will do better than you ever thought that you could!
Aww, thanks a lot Amy. I'm so honored you like it! If it wasn't for the challenge club, I doubt this would be here today. It was the push and encouragement that I needed to take better photos, learn how to edit them, learn how to make videos, open social media accounts to share with others and be able to express myself through the techniques that were taught. I appreciate all that you do for us! 😙💕
Very interesting technique. This is actually how very ornate and detailed architectural moldings used to be made using plaster. The plaster would be poured in a long mold similar to the soap mold you are using. As the plaster would begin to set up they would run a steel stencil down the mold to create the relief much the same way you are doing with the plastic stencils. Definitely an interesting technique and one I would like to try. Thank you for sharing your video.
I saw your soap on Tree Marie FB and was totally bowled over by it!!! So glad to have found you on here. Such a lovely thing you have all done for Amy :) xxx
Amazing you are.so talented I have been making soap for 20 years and I never imagine something like this gonna try it can see the love you have for Amy
Thanks so much! I'd absolutely love to see what you come up with, tag me on Facebook or Instagram if you happen to post there! It's an honor to be able to inspire a seasoned soapmaker such as yourself... I'm sure that I could learn a lot form you! 😊
Genius idea to microwave the batter. Thank you for sharing! How many times this has happened to me! Drives me mad, thank you again for such an easy solution.
I thought my soap cooled down a bit too much, so I tried it. This was my first time doing this but I definitely am someone who loves to experiment spontaneously! 😂 Thanks a lot for watching!
Creamy Obsession and there is me that calculates each layer and adds separate the lye, still sometimes it turns to hell when i need fluid soap the most! Genius. Thanks for the fall back strategy 😃
I rarely bother with all the calculations. As long as I hand mix and add fragrance separately, I have had my batter stay fluid for as long as 15 hours at a time (12 layer soap in one go). Honestly though, I hate the thought of all those dishes more than the calculations themselves!
Creamy Obsession wow, 15hrs! No way. What i do, i usually clean the pot like you do and re use it. But honestly i learned that cleaning method from idreaminsoap Lisa, and just few months ago. I don’t want to think how my pipes look. Brrr. Soapers are best!
i love how you always manage to use most of the soap 'batter' you've prepared so there's no soap being unused or wasted. I've seen a lot of soap makers on youtube that left their soap 'batter' unused and just bring them out of camera frame which is so unsatisfying to watch 😂 sorry for the broken english, i hope you understand what i mean🤭
Thank you! Your English is perfect, I understand 😊 I don't always show it on camera, but I always try to use every drop. If it doesn't go into the mold, it goes into individual cavity mold. Even the excess that I scrape out from each layer gets used... I usually put it in piping bags and pipe flowers for future soap! Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video 💕
I have been watching several soap makers. I love them all but when I opened this up and saw the design I smiled and just knew I had to watch this. So intriguing and astonishing to me. One of the most beautiful soaps I have seen. How do you figure out how to cut your scrapers.the correct depth and every thing. The suns rays... just astonishing. I think most of all it's beauty is not only because of your obvious talent but the genuine love you put into it. Prayers for Amy's total and complete recovery and healing.
Wow! Thank you so much! I usually measure everything. We have also had good news since this was made... Amy is now cancer free! Once again, thank you for this sweet comment, I appreciate it! 😊💕
what i truly love about this is,the love, patience and dedication you put in to this video. This really must calm you in a way , the precision is amazing. Thank you
Wow...good Lord!!! This is wickedly AWESOME!!! I love it...love it... I have got to try this. Your mistakes shows you are human. Thanks so much for sharing. Really appreciated it from Trinidad and Tobago.
Aww, thank you! I plan on it, I just need a little time to figure it all out and get going. I do have a video filmed that I am working on editing at the moment, it should be up soon. Thanks for watching!
That may have been the most intricate, detailed and absolutely beautiful soap I have seen to date. Your process and video presentation was the most amazing experience! From the music, description of each process, even the video speed was outstanding... It took me to another place that felt warm and safe, I didn't want it to end!! Kudo's to you and thank you so very much for sharing.. you are truly an inspiration.. again my sincerest appreciation.
Aww... this just made my heart melt. Thank you so much for your sweet words, I am so happy to hear that you were able to enjoy my video! Thank you a million times ! 😊💕
Fantastic! I noticed you didn't use any alcohol between layers, even after waiting overnight. Good to know, I've always been told you need alcohol or the layers won't stick so thank you for proving them wrong. I've had some success with this technique in the past, just using two templates to make the top and bottom of a critter but four templates...wow....challenge accepted!! I do wish there was a tutorial on how to figure the templates for four layers though, it will take me quite some time to work that out but hey, I'm still not going anywhere these days. Thank you so so much. What a gorgeous soap and mad skills you have!
I came (here thanks to RUclips recommendation feed), I saw and I subscribed! Truly amazingly beautiful soap, and I’m really happy it came up in my RUclips recommendations just now!
In a few days, I'm going to get my first melt and pour soap ingredients so i can finally make my mother a watermelon soap I have promised her. Cold Process soup is not for me, mainly because I'm kinda scared of it but Godness, I love vidoes like these. People like you are true artists, much respect :)

@@CreamyObsession always a treat to watch a talent like this..inspires me to try new things! Always so scared I will screw up but I now realize..it's just soap...even if it's not how I wanted..it still does what it's intended to! lol
This normally turns out even if you get to a thicker trace. The only way it can turn out bad is if your fragrance accelerates it to the point that you can no longer scrape it. Otherwise, it's workable! If you mess up, just put in back in and try again! I'd love to see yours when and if you try. And I encourage you to give it a shot- you'll probably surprise yourself!
These are stunning! It was really fun to watch your journey in the challenge group too. This was such a touching thing to be a part of, and my emotional self tears up just thinking about the support this community shows. Fantastic job on this beautiful soap! 😍🥰

Thank you so much! This is so sweet, you just made my day! 😊💕
