What I did appreciate was the tips on improving the quality of your micas or other powdered colourants in your soap by mixing it the way you do. The hints are an important part of growing with your application of your ingredients. Thank you for the help you've given me and so many others.🍉 🏆🤩🤩

    Love this soap. It sounds so technical, but you make it look easy. I have no idea about the math, and percentages, it baffles me. Thanks for sharing your talent and again, this is an awesome looking soap. You never disappoint. 🤩 You are still the only person I have seen who fills in the holes to make sure everything looks perfect.

    Beautiful soap!! 💞
    Soda ash is the result of the sodium hydroxide reacting to the oxygen in the air. To minimize soda ash, keep your soap covered until it reaches that dull look loosing the shiny look. Spray the soap with either 91 or 99% RA, fan it manually to help that disappate and then cover again to oven process. The heat of oven processing will also prevent soda ash from forming but be sure it stays covered until it cools down. Of course you can quickly take a peak but keep it covered. Best way is to let it sit covered over night or until it's room temperature and no longer actively saponifying.
    Thanks for sharing your technique, well done!!

    I just saw this video. The soap is so darn cute, it inspired me to try another watermelon soap this year. Something different. Thank you for sharing your process. Your commitment to detail is amazing! With that said, I was wondering what color combo you used for the background? Is it the Synergy with TD?

    Your bars always turn out so beautiful! Question....When I get about half way through my soap bars (that I make) they go soft and gooey why would that be?

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  Год назад

      Are you letting it drain and dry out in-between uses? How long are you curing your bars? Also, if you are using soapcalc, What is the ratio in the upper right corner of saturated to unsaturated fatty acid? You can up the amount of saturated fats to make a harder bar. It's better to up the palmitic and stearic acids rather than the lauric and myristic acids, so it won't be drying. Palm oil, lard, cocoa butter, and shea butter are high in palmitic and stearic acids.
