does the blade touches the body when sliding? and go dull every time?

I had a slider and I did find this to be the case! It was constantly dull even before actually cutting anything!!

Gerber prybid is what I went with save your money and get a very durable tool for 17 bucks. And I love titanium stuff.

Way to expensive for what it is.

I love my BDEDC Topo TPT Slide, used it for short term use, mail and opening boxes. Used it every day I got it, took it through TSA no problem. However, I recently got Exceed Designs TiRant Razer V3. It's easier to break down boxes comfortably. I still carry my TPT slide, as a back up Razer storage.

I know nothing about this blade: do I see notches in the "mouth" of the blade cutout for using as a wrench on nuts/bolts?

Btw I’ve seen some RUclips videos saying this doesn’t work very well.

Agreed. I don’t do it often enough to get the hang of it.

I waited to get one of these for a long time due to the price. After finally getting one, I don't regret it at all.
Watch the how-to's from BigIDesign's channel. They demonstrate a couple different ways to replace the blade. Practice with the dull one it comes with until you get the hang of it. Once you figure it out, your confidence increases to the point that a sharp edge isn't an obstacle.

It’s hard to criticize such a simple, elegant implementation. After using this I have trouble thinking any other way to make something like this. I don’t like to say perfect but I’m tempted to. It’s truly great.
